Just another quick question regarding icarez. Did anyone else have problems getting rid of the bubbles along the edges? I’ve tried to put 2 of their protectors on and could not get rid of all the bubbles. Never had this problem with other glass protectors. I didn’t let it sit overnight. Would that make a difference?

I installed 2, one on my max and one on my wife's max. Both went on with no issues, no bubbles or other problems. Did you get the 2 pack set with the screen install tool included? I think there's one available that doesn't have the install tool and I could see maybe having it a little off center could cause bubbles. This is for the 3d version, not the 2.5 version.

Did the bubbles go away the next day, just got them today, got a few bubbles, annoying, just wondering if they disappear at all?

Did yours go away? I took off a different screen protector (had a sharp bottom edge) that had no bubbles, now I have several on the iCarez.

Unless you have lint underneath.... the bubbles will come out. Or if it is misaligned... this can be an issue.

Usually just keep working at them, going from the center out and not pressing on the corners. If they won't come out you may have to lift a corner up and let it back down.

Some say waiting... but that never worked for me.

Try different materials... like the micro fiber on your finger. A soft rubber squeegee

Thanks, I probably should have waited but I pulled it off, slapped another one (definitely no lint) and now there are bubbles all along the right side. Did the lift and press, still there. Now I’ll just wait, no other choice.

I always give it 24 hours, usually most are gone by then and the ones left are easier to push out after a day. I also always install in a hot, steamy bathroom to avoid lint. My current one is on so well there is no way to tell there is a protector on there unless you really stare at the top speaker hole where there is a slight difference in size between the hole in the protector and the hole in the phone.

I just received my Spigen Easy Fit yesterday. I gotta say that I am very happy with it. I too had bubbles after application but they are all completely gone as of this morning. I am very picky about fit and finish and I am very impressed with just how easy it was to install with the included applicator. The hardest part was getting dust off my Max's screen and keeping it off prior to installation. It looks great! I used to go to the Apple store and buy the Belkin Invisiglass protector and had them use the machine to put it on - which also produced a great result but at a much higher cost. $40 for Belkin or $13 for the Spigen Easy Fit via Amazon - I don't think I'll be returning to the Apple Store for the Belkin.
It's the one I've chosen too.
It should be here tomorrow.
Can I ask you if once installed remains plenty of space to mount a case without lifting screen's edges??
TIA

Finally bubble free!! Last 3 went away after plenty of diligence.

Well, I am using the Spigen Ultra Hybrid and I can report no issues with lifting. I don't have another case to try but I have heard reports that others work as well.

I’ve used the Ultra Hybrid since the launch of the 8 Plus.
To me, it's a real fingerprint magnet, and from the 2 holes on the bottom it comes in dust and lint, so this time i'll pass.

I bought the Spigen Neo Hybrid, but I think it fits the same way.
Thanks

Do the protectors you’re using have the black outline around the earpiece as well as the whole screen? Mine did and I’m returning it as I suspect it will mess up the ambient light sensor that’s located directly above the earpiece.

If you use cases with a lip for flip down protection. you can't use 3D glass protectors... the lip might force the 3d glass out which will ruin your purchase
unless you're rocking something basic like apple silicone cases or those clippy plastic case with no overlap lip then "Maybe"... "MAYBE" the 3d Glass protectors might work.

Something to be warned about... I have used iCarez for a couple years. Love them. The screen for the Max is TIGHT tolerance if you're using cases witgh a lip, like the Spigen line. Even using the tray to install, there's still some wiggle room, and if you're not dead exact, a corner will lift. I am a bit OCD over this sort of thing, so I went through a couple installs until I had one in the perfect spot with ZERO specs or lint, and I still get a tiny bit of lift in the corners.

I’m using a spigen tempered glass and it’s pretty much on perfect expect for a tiny spot on the side.

I’ve installed it today.

So happy there are two in one pack as I’ve ruined the first one. I had bubbles, tried to fix that and ruined the protector.
Second installed almost flawlessly, could fix some small bubles at the edges but they disappeared quickly.

Both my phone and my wife's phone have the 3d Icarez and the black border has not interfered with anything at all.

Also, I've said this is several screen protector threads, the 3d version has been compatible with several different cases I've tried so far. Take that for what it's worth, I obviously haven't tried every single case but it's worked with the following:
Rhinoshield Mod/solidsuit
Catalyst Impact
Apple Leather
Mous 2.0
Caubabe Sheath
Trianium clear
Caseology Legion
