This is because any Mac that could run Mavericks, could also run Yosemite, to my understanding. So therefore they had no "need" to keep it up like the other versions, still it is odd that they excluded that one single version though.No, I haven't

Thanks @startergo , it works like a charm on my cMP5,1 - it is very convenient to dump/flash cMP bootrom - no need to enter Recovery 1st in order to disable SIP like on Mojave, and I installed two copies, one on USB thumb disk, another on a HDD;If someone needs a working USB installer for Mavericks as of today do this:
* Download a copy of this ISO file.
* Download Balena Etcher.
* Burn the ISO image to an 8GB USB withBalena Etcher
.
* Boot the USB by holdingOPTION
key at boot and select the installer in aMavericks
supported machine.
* Open terminal and issue this command:
* Exit the terminal and proceed with the installation.Code:date 0101010116
The same USB can be used for creating a virtual machine in Parallels as long as you change the date from terminal as described above. For some reason the original ISO file attached as a boot image to Parallels is not recognized and it boots to a forbidden sign screen.
You can still download Mavericks from the Appstore (from within a 10.6 to 10.11 system) as long as you have "purchased" it before in the past. As far as why did they not release it as a DMG no one knows but Apple.Does anyone know why Apple has a DMG link for 10.7, 10.8, 10.10, 10.11, 10.12 but skips 10.9?
Windows XP Service Pack 1 is no longer offered by Microsoft back then to Java virtual machine licensing issue or something like that... Does Apple have something in 10.9 that it does not have a DMG direct link for it?
for some reason apple likes to treat it like a black sheep. the reason they say they don’t have a download is because they only provide versions of macos that were EOL for mac’s, and any mac that could run mavericks could also run yosemite or el capitan… so they see no reason in hosting it.Does anyone know why Apple has a DMG link for 10.7, 10.8, 10.10, 10.11, 10.12 but skips 10.9?

On the plus side for all these 3 Mavericks is the only one with unrestricted access to NVRAM. There is no SIP implemented in it.for some reason apple likes to treat it like a black sheep. the reason they say they don’t have a download is because they only provide versions of macos that were EOL for mac’s, and any mac that could run mavericks could also run yosemite or el capitan… so they see no reason in hosting it.
