Price difference between the 13 and 13 Pro is $300 now! o_O

In comparison the price difference between the 12 (128GB) and the 12 Pro (128GB) was $200.

Funny. The 13 and Mini both got price drops (the US price stayed the same I believe).

12 Mini (64GB) was $979 --> 13 Mini (128GB) is $949
13 (64GB) was $1129 --> 13 (128GB) is $1099
They know that they will make their bulk of sales on the Pro models because of the cameras and 120hz so no reason for them to lower it....shady apple being shady.

That 6 month financing is a Joke. You do credit check for spreading that payment just for 6 months.
Credit cards like Scotia have better options for 12 months and interest is not that bad, you just pay around $50 extra in 12 months for a purchase of about 2K.

Not to mention that you forego mobile phone insurance if your credit card covers that as most include verbiage that the phone has to be fully paid with the credit card or paid monthly with your carrier.

It's a bad deal.

Go Blue Jays as well! Thinking of trying this financing option as I never have before. I have always purchased my iPhones every year outright and sold privately a year later to upgrade to the newest one. This year, Apple is offering $820 CDN trade in for my 12 Pro Max, leaving $729 remaining to purchase the 13 Pro Max 128GB....$128ish I think for financing/month for 6 months at 0%. In my mind, 0% financing is a no brainer and a credit check is not going to hurt me. Any one thinking this?

No AppleCard yet in Canada..... I'm too jealous of the 3% cashback it gives in the US on Apple purchases.

If I'm about to buy multiple Apple products, what's the most "efficient" way to do that in Canada? Any tricks?

I wonder if it might be cheaper to go to the US and buy there...

our currency exchange rate shows the 13 mini pricing from USA to Canada for 256 should be $890 rounded up, not $949CAN. So yeah getting multiple devices ensure your vaccinated for entry purchase outright enjoy the sites come back.

financing in Canada through Apples third party is now reduced to 6 months total payment length, prior it was 12/24 months.

I actually think the dollar has recovered a bit since the 12 release. Really surprised they didn't adjust it.

The new Mini pricing seems much more inline. 499 -->649

Companies never adjust for stronger dollar, Apple included. They sure as **** adjust when it falls though. It's just a reminder that these companies really don't care about anyone and only care about money. Which is why it's so sad when we see fanboys standup like these companies are their family. All they care about is how to drain all of us of as much of our money as possible.

My 13 Pro Max Leather Case just arrived here in Edmonton. I find this Midnight colour... bizarre. It comes off as either greyish black or a bluish slate depending on how you look at it. Coming from a X, this size is definitely a big departure from what I'm used to (quite literally), but this leather material feels very supple and high-quality that it's well worth the size tradeoff in everyday use.

EDIT: I'm planning to pair this Midnight leather case with the Sierra Blue 13PM model.
