The 48MP main camera on the new Pro models comes with a second-gen quad-pixel sensor that eliminates any shutter lag (time between tapping the shutter button and the photo getting snapped) while shooting 48MP images. This is true both when you are shooting at the more storage-efficient HEIF format, and when shooting in Apple ProRAW. You can have your opinion about the upgrade but facts are facts. Get it right.
Is the sensor itself any different? I care about image quality, not shutter speed. I think most people are the same. The shutter speed is already very fast.

I'm worried because my tracking hasn't changed since the 20th. It's a 55-minute flight or a 4-hour drive from YVR to YLW airport. Does UPS not update tracking information on the weekends? Not feeling confidence I'll receive my package on Monday.

Slightly better as I posted but not a deal breaker In regards to the sensor. The purpose of my post was to show there are actually a lot more upgrades this year as opposed to last year.

Got mine on Friday with the silicone case but I'm thinking of finding a good leather one.
Any good leather cases you were able to find?

I’ve tried decoded, mujjo, blackbrook and all are excellent but not exactly cheap. Best leather case I ever had was a vaja but they’re insanely expensive. Would be nice to find a well made leather case for under $100.

I always get a Bullstrap, but not cheap either and in USD. But if you even get a scratch on it, they will replace it under their lifetime warranty. I find it hit and miss whether I have to pay duty when it gets delivered each year.

I’m confident you will get it Monday! Confident I’ll get mine too and if it makes you feel any better, my last UPS scan is the exact same as yours but nothing further and that’s typical because the scans don’t update on the weekend. I can almost guarantee you’ll get it tomorrow, but I will check in here tomorrow as I can to see if you’ve updated us! I’ll let you know when I get mine!

Good call. I have heard of bullstrap as well. Heard they make excellent cases. I’ll have to give them a look!
