I agree. He comes in here whining with a new thread but the answers are obviously evasive. Apple knows something he's not revealing.
By any chance, did you purchase the Apple Case?
Apple seems to be putting these safeguards in place to prevent reselling, but they probably aren't as efficient in their cross-checking as we're led to believe. Maybe they have your name in the system for the Case and somehow that is giving them the red flag.

I just wanted to know this is just one-off case or the similar thing happened to to others.
I've just finished talking to Apple Store (inquiring about the status of my previous inquiry), and found that they escalated the priority of my case and promised to get back to me COB. The operator speculated it was a system fault (she said "It looks like our system made a mistake"). She and her colleagues are trying to reinstate my previous order, but it won't be delivered by 28/May..it will be sometime in June.
I will post an update when I hear form Apple Store.
Actually I bet the CS people know nothing. The message is automated because more than 10 ipads were purchased.
Wow, I didn't know that you can buy more then 10 units /card.
In Australia, iPad is not available yet. It's at the reorder stage, and I know the 2 iPad per person (possibly per credit card) limit.

Before your little accusation and the little +2, he VERY clearly stated that he had not purchased any in the past. Are you guys really THAT much of fanboys of Apple....do you REALLY think Apple can do no wrong? Put the Kool-Aid down kids....go outside and play
To the OP....good luck, I hope it all works out.....call them again....
I am also getting a bid fed up reading posts that seem to think that Apple can do no wrong.
There aren't many people who love Apple products more than me, but it seems that the bigger/more popular they have become, the worse their quality control has become. I think the majority of people (no not all -but a 'majority') of people who have bought their products over time, would agree. This doesn't mean that Apple are bad -they are better than most... but it is natural that more sales =faster production =quality control issues. Exploding batteries, anyone? How about failing G4 logic boards? and so on...
What is it with people on these forums? It is either their view, or the wrong view. I posted on here a couple of days ago about how I had problems with my order -an order which Apple DID screw up, through no fault of my own. Yet, I was treated like the deluded one
Apple DO make mistakes, nobody is perfect.
Thank you for your comments, DougFNJ and JonnyIreland.
I've received a call around 6pm and the operator informed me that they forwarded my case to "Back Office" (I've asked what exactly "Back Office" is but they've just said "somewhere who do not listen to telephone calls"????).
And they told me that they will call me on next Monday with an update.
BTW, I've forgot to mention before that the operator at Apple Store did try to help me and wished me that I get my iPad on 28/May. (She even offered me some coupons, which I kindly declined)
am keeping my fingers crossed.

Was your credit card/bank card used to purchase a couple of iPads??
No. There is no record of purchasing any iPad with my card(s).
No, he didn't state that. Go back and read his responses. He crafted his response to avoid actually answering the questions directly.
For example:

What kind of answer is that? That makes it appear that he used other payment methods (such as cards in other names) to purchase iPads for other purposes (such as reselling). Did multiple iPads get charged on a variety of cards but were sent to a single address? It's things like this in his responses that indicate there is much more to the story.
