Developer Beta 2 Build Number 16A239j, Public Beta 1 Build Number 16A238m. Screen Shot 2016-07-18 at 3.08.09 PM.png
I downloaded something new o_O

I just tried to install the new full installer with 16A239k from 16A239j and "an internal error occurred", after that it booted into recovery.

When I mount my Recovery HD there seems to be 16A239o on it. o_O I'll install that again to see what I get...

Grrr, my Recovery HD installed that one (from j to m) and in the meanwhile beta 3 has been released.

Strange, did recovery bring me back to beta 1 but with a wrong build number? I just realised after installing the beta 3 update that in beta 2 both graphics were shown and after reinstall it was gone. Now it's back.

Edit: App Store said calculating for the beta 3 update like forever and nothing happened, then it suddenly rebooted and installed it without a warning.

Just use the direct links, thereby getting the update via a browser instead of the mac app store.

Can't post the links here though. Moderators don't like that kind of thing.

But if you are a developer you probably have seen instructions on how to find such links in apple's developer forums. So you shouldn't have to rely on someone posting the links anyway.

True, forgot about the link policy.

As usual I cannot …

Simply have patience.

It's normal for not every qualifying Mac, worldwide, to find all required files available – from whatever points in the content delivery network serve your network – at the same moment.

Here in the UK I chose the 'softwareupdate -l' approach once or twice followed by 'sudo softwareupate -i -a'.
