Not readily done by the end-user as far as I know. You can easily use LCC profiles to correct for colour casts and vignetting but distortion is beyond the capabilities of LCC.Anyone knows how to add lenses (for lens corrections) there are a few Canon lenses but a lot of them are missing.

Not likely to show up in 30 days. They do them by hand as I understand it (whatever that means - but not just algorithmically. It involves actual humans.). I think one of the videos on the C1 youtube channel interviews Niels Knudsen, who is one of the original brains behind C1, and he gave some insight. They add new lenses reasonably often but tends to be based on number of requests they get and popularity of the lens (again, as I understand it). But even then, they’re not too fast on getting profiles out.Ok, thanks, don't know what LCC is, but there are some manufacturer profiles listed, but it seems to miss a lot of lenses. I've written a post on Capture One forum and a "Lens profile request" thread. Perhaps it will show up. Don't know how long it takes, but my trial is 30 days from now. I'll monitor the progress.

Their generic profiles can do a good job, actually, but it operates only on a per image basis.
The long exotics do tend to be lower volume sellers for sure. Canon will hope for more than 10-20 . Paparazzi and sports shooters likely swell those ranks.Oh, then my lens probably won't get any support. They're (Canon) selling perhaps 10-20 of this particular lens a year i guess.

C1 doesn't seem to do a lot with these lenses for Nikon or Canon, though they do for Sony. I believe though that Sony adds enough profile information in their raw files that they don't need to get a copy of the lens on their bench to build one, so maybe that's why. Or maybe the Nikon and Canon lenses are better behaved (just kidding of course).
I have found (on the Nikons anyway) that the generic profile does a good job and the lens correction controls are really good if I need to take it a little further on a particular image. I think the generic profile is somewhat misnamed because it makes one think it's a "blanket profile" - the same corrections for all images, all lenses. In fact, it does analyze each image and apply corrections based on focal length, aperture, etc. "Capture One Algorithmic Profile" or some such might be a better name.
Indeed, those lenses across Canon, Nikon and now Sony are almost always exquisite, and judging from your images here that remains the case .Yes, I was a bit unclear. Approx. 10-20 in Sweden that is.
I know the cost is a bit on the higher end perhaps, but was still kind of surprised that the 400 f/2.8 and 600 f/4 wasn't selling that much. I thought it was their most sold top 10 lens all categories. But clearly I don't know that particular line of business
When the seller told me that, I was unsure if it's a good lens at all. Almost no additional accessories to the lens, almost no reviews (there are a few thou, but nothing compared to for example the 70-200mm). So I was a bit hesitant purchasing this, in the case the lens was a bad one.
But,
It's a rather good lens, but as stated before, a bit pricey perhaps.
Well, just got a mail that says the iPad is coming early 22. That’s still a while but something to look forward to.
I hope they go the full premium route without a mandatory subscription.Definitely looking forward to that! Right now I'm a Lightroom user, because of the iPad app. But if C1 has one too, I'd seriously look at switching away from Adobe.
