I can confirm that zagg glass+ works just fine.Anyone with Zagg glass protector and 12.2 confirming the fix? I would like to buy an 11" and the Zagg. Thanks.
This doesn’t sound like a promotional post at all /sI literally started a macrumors account just so that I can save people the trouble that I went through with this whole ordeal of the touch sensitivity/ballistic glass problems.
Well, ladies and gentlemen, after more than a year of non stop issues, you can now put aside any discussion as to what you should and shouldn’t buy to fix the touch screen issues, as there is only one company that has 100% fixed the issue, at least that I would trust with this. That company is tech armor, and they are incredible. I’ve used and recommended them for years for my ballistic glass screen protectors, as they make an truly great product....and they have now, just this month, released the “Ultra-thin .25mm ballistic glass for iPad Pro 11 inch.” And I am so happy to announce that it 100% fixed all the issues I was having.
Just a quick recap, I purchased the original, much thicker version of the tech armor ballistic glass back when the iPad Pro 11 was released. There were definitely touch sensitivity issues, but not like described with some other brands from some other users. The issues were minimal enough that I thought I had a bad iPad and even ended up exchanging it for a new one through the AppleCare program (this was long before this thread even existed). So, immediately tech armor was ahead of the competition. But once I figured out what was actually happening, I was bummed as hell, realizing I had an iPad that wouldn’t work the way it was intended unless I exposed it to the elements without protection. It lasted that way for nearly a year, unable to send messages without buttons being skipped over, basically making it impossible to send emails or text messages without losing my mind from frustration, or scrolling through a web page and occasionally having to swipe my finger more than once just to get it to acknowledge my movements.
However, due to the issues surrounding all ballistic glass on the market, tech armor decided to make their own ultra thin glass that would meet expectations for pro users. I can verify that, as usual, tech armor has come out with a great product that works perfectly.
So, if you are unsure which product to buy, just save yourself the trouble and get it right the first time with the new ultrathin .25 mm ballistic glass for iPad Pro 11 by tech armor. You won’t regret it, I promise. Also, they have an amazing warrantee on their product. If you break it, they replace it for free. All you have to do is pay for shipping. I will post an amazon link to the product below.

As stated in here and confirmed by many, 12.2 likely fixed the glass screen protector touch sensitivity issues for any and all brands.

Is this confirmed or hearsay? I've been using the amfilm glass for months now and it's been nearly flawless. I haven't noticed anything different since updating to 12.2.
Not sure what you define as hearsay, but several users in this thread including myself report a complete fix. I had an 11" awhile back and returned it for this issue. The 11" I bought last week also initially was hit and miss on 12.1 with the Zagg protector on, but as soon as I updated to 12.2 it became perfect with finger and pencil.
I also saw it on a major tech publication like Appleinsider or TechCrunch but couldn't find it again. I did find this:

12.2 fixes the problem for sure.
Brand new replacement Gorilla Glass 11" protector arrived today.
Delighted as it includes removable film to reveal sticky side.
Installed beautifully and have to add-touch screen is flying.
Is this the one you purchased?

This truly is interesting...
I held off on buying the IPP11 for months post launch since the issue appeared to be hardware based. I finally bought one around the holidays when amfilm glass was confirmed to work without issue (I don't use any touch device without first installing glass). Fast forward four months and now it was software all along, and all glass from any brand works now?
I'd love to find out the why and how, since touching the metal side bezel was the 'fix' in the past.
My glass screen protector works perfectly.Just a word of caution. Do NOT try and use any of the glass screen protectors currently available for the new iPad Pros. The touch response becomes SERIOUSLY wonky. It is so bad I thought I had a hardware issue with my brand new 11" iPad Pro.
Exactly presented very nice indeed.
Though had to request replacement for non film 1st screen protector.
Very happy indeed ,quality product and super smooth touch screen.
Yup, a seriously bad problem, it may be the defective new screens. I tried at least three screen protectors. All the same.Just a word of caution. Do NOT try and use any of the glass screen protectors currently available for the new iPad Pros. The touch response becomes SERIOUSLY wonky. It is so bad I thought I had a hardware issue with my brand new 11" iPad Pro.
Also, I have had three disastrous clear cases from a flawless dealer for nine years.Yup, a seriously bad problem, it may be the defective new screens. I tried at least three screen protectors. All the same.
I bought a MediaDevil plastic screen protector specifically because of the problems people had been having with screen responsiveness. Unfortunately, in spite of that, I still had problems. And they were huge fingerprint magnets. Maybe a glass protector would have been even worse, but I wasn’t too happy.
After updating to iOS 12.2, the screen seems to magically be better! It’s hard to imagine how an iOS update could fix the responsiveness problem, but so far so good!!
Will keep a close eye on this, then will have to decide whether to ditch the premium $$ I spent on the plastic protectors to replace them with a glass one that sheds fingerprints better. To be clear, I’ve been pleased with the quality of the MediaDevil protector, but the fingerprints drive me crazy.
