in project lore the opening their is alot of iphones being used

not to pick but we ( me and my girlfriend) had a debate on how to fix this sentence

In the opening of Project Lore, there are a lot of iPhones.

She is an english major, and figured this is what you meant to say.

no worries.

Hardly a full-blown celebrity, but I am currently watching the local news here in Boston waiting for the SNL premier in 20 minutes and the computer that the news-anchor is using on WHDH is clearly a MacBook Air. No pictures right now, but I found it funny figuring they always seem to have Dells or HPs on the table when they broadcast, just a nice change for a Mac enthusiast.

100% authentic.
That would be the college scene these days! Every college/university is like that worldwide.
Macs have a much larger share than most realize...

that picture is from the university of missouri. the school's strongest program, the journalism school, strongly recommends students purchase macs before entering their freshman year, so 99% do.

Uhh.. no. That is a lie. Macs have good market share but that is obviously a screen shot for some special thing where people had to bring macs or they were required for that class. Every college/university is definitely not like that in the USA and even less like that worldwide.

thank you. That is NOTHING like normal universities. I would say macs make up less than 25% of student used computers. and thats at LARGE universities.

I guess that you are going to tell me that it is 25% Macs and 75% between Dells and Lenovo ThinkPads - or should I say - StinkPads...

You have obviously not been to any college/university worth mentioning on your resume.

I can assure you that IT IS LIKE THIS EVERYWHERE!!!

Actually, that pic is pretty true for some colleges. At mine, it's not rare to see a bunch of people pull out a white Macbook and/or Macbook Pro. When I first started as a freshmen, it was all about the Dell models the uni sold, but now everyone seems to have a Macbook. And people who own Dells are saying "I can't wait to get my Macbook."

FWIW, I attend Boston College.

P.S. We have a couple of labs on campus that are running off Mac Pros and ACDs. It's pretty flippin' sweet.
