yes. actually. at my school my major required macs only. EVERYONE had one. as soon as i stepped outside that major or anything else not art-design-creatively challenged- i saw PC. you cant say that Universities are more than 40% macs. Thats just plain WRONG.

Actually, that pic is pretty true for some colleges. At mine, it's not rare to see a bunch of people pull out a white Macbook and/or Macbook Pro. When I first started as a freshmen, it was all about the Dell models the uni sold, but now everyone seems to have a Macbook. And people who own Dells are saying "I can't wait to get my Macbook."

FWIW, I attend Boston College.

P.S. We have a couple of labs on campus that are running off Mac Pros and ACDs. It's pretty flippin' sweet.

Why do people need computers in lectures? Unless they are doing computer sci or something along those lines. Making notes is a lot easier by hand, esp. science/maths students.

I can't speak for other students, but I type faster than I write. As a history minor who has to sit through 2-hour lectures, I can type what the professor mentions much easier.

Then again, I'm not a math/physics/natural sciences major.

Crazy...when I was in college only like 15% of students even had a laptop. There were many days of cramped wrists/fingers from writing so much :p

I didn't grab a screen shot, but I swear the announcers for the CBS game b/n NE and SF were using a mac. I'm pretty sure the display I saw was an apple cinema display.

no pics though.

No wonder there's "global warming" with all that hardware running and when's the last time the guy picked up a little bit, during Eisenhower's terms?

(note for accuracy, there is no global warming, that was just a joke about how much electricity he's using with his trio of 40" monitors)

From that pic he looks inherently NOT organized to say the least. Scary. Although I wonder what would've become of the last 8 years.

Mythbusters using Macs on a recent episode where they tested out the Moon landing hoax myths. Does anyone know what the computer on the right is? A powerbook? I don't recognize it

The Number 1 Hatemonger Uses Macs

Rush Limbaugh

The only thing wrong with him is that ridiculously gay trash sticking out of his mouth in the photo you used. If you want to find a hatemonger look to some of the "reverends" and supporters of the absolute trainwreck it looks like we're going to be cursed with for at least the next 4 years.

Talk about curses all you want, take the last 8 years into consideration, please. Apologies if intelligence, communication, hope and a desire to lead that is greater than the desire to play cowboy is offensive to you. You're going down in November thankfully. How you call someone as successful as him a trainwreck says more about you than you probably want to be sharing. Sorry for hijacking this thread but I couldn't let your B.S. slide. We've had enough of that the last 8 years.
