I saw a pic of Bill Gates' wife, Melinda using a MBP, but I can't find the picture again. Also watch any episode of the Celebrity Apprentice on NBC and they're all using Macs... it's most likely product placement though, because last season they used Windows on HP machines. lol

yeh but does anyone know which mac steve uses personally? does he use a macbook/ pro, imac, mac pro?

He mentioned at the 2006 Special Event that the family uses an iMac when he was demoing Front Row on the iMac G5 with iSight. I've also seen him in pictures with a 17" PowerBook back in the day which i hear is where he created his Keynote speeches from. I'd guess that has now changed to a 17" MacBook Pro

I guess he has several, but my money is on a top of the line iMac. The Mac Pro would be too cumbersome for his way of seeing simplicity.
And the open letter he wrote to tell his employees that he had had cancer was a 17" Powerbook, I think.

yeh i remember reading about the 17 inch powerbook too. he wrote the letter while in his hospital bed.

you would think that steve would use an 8-core mac pro with 32GB of RAM and 3 30" cinema displays. but your right maybe he just wants an all in one with no wires. maybe thats why there is no middle tower mac atm?

all, and probably alot of concept models..

im sure he would. lol i wonder if he has macs stacked around his house everywhere and is never a step away from a macbook or an imac or iphone or he strictly sticks to one type of model.

Apple Fans

Sorry, I don't have any pictures, but I know Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson are big Apple fans. In fact, Michael praised the iTunes Store when it first opened and he did a webchat on a Mac back in 1995. Also, you can hear the powerup sound on an interlude in Janet Jackson's The Velvet Rope album. Victoria Beckham has a Mac as well. Even though 'I Am Legend' has product placement Macs, Will Smith is a big Apple fan and has said so many a time.

No pics but I pointed it out to my wife before we bought our iMac...

"See Iron Chef America uses Macs!!!"

If you watch an episode of Iron Chef America or the now finished (watching older episodes) of the Reality Iron Chef series, they have Macs on their with the Apple Logo taped over.

I saw david robinson (retired spurs player) in an apple store here in san antonio 2 days ago. He was looking at a macbook and asking about syncing files.

I love that Frog that Al Gore has on his wall. His office is a mess. I would have cleared up some of that mess for a photo, it looks too unkept. I'm sure he thought it looks like he is so into what he is doing that he doesn't notice the clutter. I just want to organize his stuff into boxes. Can't even see his MacPro.

Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs has used an iBook G4 and a PowerBook G4 in some episodes if I recall correctly. :)
