Beautiful - Amazing performance and track - love his historical approach and application of Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque instruments

Love his YouTube channel

Another devout fan of his YouTube channel, here; I love this stuff - it answers some strange need in my soul I wasn't even aware existed.

Have you watched his (that is, Brandon Acker's) - "History of the Guitar" video on his YouTube channel?

It is around an hour long and is simply superb - educational, instructive and not just interesting, but fascinating, too.

Sorry, you are absolutely correct; it is Brandon Acker, - and this is the piece - but on Rob Scallon's channel (and I only came to know Rob Scallon through Brandon Acker).

Thanks for linking it: It is a truly wonderful, engaging, delightful, entertaining - and most interesting piece. Well worth watching.

Currently enjoying (thoroughly enjoying) watching (and listening to) Felices Cantus Baroque, with "La Folia from the Renaissance through the Baroque Music," recorded on 13 June, 2018.

The incomparable Jordi Savall (complete with his stunning viol da gamba) plays, and the msicians all play with period instruments. Glorious.

? Haven't been here for a while. Slowly working my way through the Mozart Piano Concertos - it is nice to be able to attend live concerts again then listen to the recordings.

Do enjoy.

One of my all time favourites - of all music - is W A Mozart's Piano Concerto No 20 (K466).

In fact, your post was a timely reminder to listen to it once again - something I haven't done for far too long.

Memories of Paris - I was lucky enough to stay at the Hilton (Paris) a few times near where this filmed and use to love running along the river - was little easier to stay motivated make the 10K with all amazing scenery and landmarks

Vals for Atom - Laurent Boutros - Pont des Arts - Julieta Cruzado, danse

My mother loved The Merry Wives of Windsor - especially, the Overture - (by Franz Lehár), and that is what I am listening to, just now.

Very nice, particularly with the dancer!

My mother loved The Merry Wives of Windsor - especially, the Overture - (by Franz Lehár), - actually, she had it on a wonderfully solid 33 rpm vinyl record, one that dated from the fifties - and that is what I am listening to, just now.

If one can cite (and I think that you can) Ludovico Einaudi, well, then, I can refer you to a quite lovely and heartbreakingly beautiful piece by Ronald Binge that goes by the name of The Watermill.
