Ah, wonderful; some of the Russian 19th & 20th century composers are brilliant.Alexander Borodin - String Quartet No. 2 in D Major: III. Notturno. Andante

Love to be introduced to composers from the Baroque era that I have yet to discover.

Borodin is incredible and i have most of his music.
i had tears when i saw Rachmaninov's 3rd piano concerto live years ago.
those Beethoven symphonies could be on an older hardrive, along with the 10th that was recored in rehearsal.
these composers were ahead of their time!
Attended a concert on Thursday featuring Mozart Piano Concerto No. 13, Symphony No. 31 and Ravel's La Tombeau de Couperin.👋 Haven't been here for a while. Slowly working my way through the Mozart Piano Concertos - it is nice to be able to attend live concerts again then listen to the recordings.
Really enjoying some of Tarrega's most remarkable masterpieces.
Well if you want to immortalize something, put it in an indestructible NokiaOne of my favorites as well 👍
I wonder what Tárrega would have thought of this piece being sampled for one of the most famous "ring tones" of all time 😃
I enjoyed his interpretation and the recording - good quality!Really enjoying some of Tarrega's most remarkable masterpieces.
One of my favorite soundtracks indeed. Wendy (nee Walter) Carlos did some incredible work on what those days were fairly primitive synthesizers.Very true, and along these lines Stanley Kubrick used classical music so masterfully in his movies. Notably 2001, Clockwork Orange, and especially Barry Lyndon (a favorite of mine).
For those who think their piano playing abilities and ego are up to it, Liszt’s La Campanella will adequately test your mettle. I think Liszt wrote this solely to demonstrate his technical superiority and huge size of his hands, plucky bastard!I love the Romantic era for two reasons: Liszt and Beethoven.

There isn't a full length video of the ballet on YouTube at the moment but anybody who wants to "see the music, hear the dance" ought to keep an eye out...Edward Elgar - Enigma Variations
Just had the pleasure of listening to it again.Really enjoying some of Tarrega's most remarkable masterpieces.
