It's a combinations of several different tweaks (including the stuff in the status bar) as well as a force-quit of the Field Test app that gave me the DBM signal.

I have a certain look I desire and jailbreaking has helped me achieve that since iOS 5. Once I set it though, that's it. Except for wallpaper changes, nothing major has been done to this particular device in over a year.

See, that's the thing. You assume that if we were in charge we'd be forcing this stuff on everyone.

That's not the issue here. The issue is being allowed to customize, not forcing customization on the user.

And there's the difference between us and Ive/Apple. They don't think the user should be allowed to customize so they don't allow it. That's a choice/decision they've made for you. You don't get to decide.

But if you think denying choice to the consumer is the way to go…well Apple is right there with you.
