Coming to a conclusion I've often resisted (OS 10, not ex)

I'm surprised by the number of people who call it OS ex.

Seems like a natural progression... OS 8... OS 9... OS 10

I tend to think people are more ignorant who all it OS ex. It doesn't mean that they are. I suppose I just assumed people who knew what they were talking about would call it by the right name.

You could get really technical and just refer to it by build numbers. Maybe Apple uses bundle numbers internally. Who knows? What does it really matter? Seems to me a lot like being concerned that I grew up calling a 'water fountain' a 'bubbler' and someone else called it a 'cooler'
