$300 pc that runs very slowly the windwos10 that since October is full of isssuess...so issues from windows 10 itself + a very slow pc at 300$ ?!
No thank you, fewer issues on this side,Apple side

Couple of things...also new mac mini 2018. Same bluetooth mouse problem with a USB 3.0 hub plugged in. Got an external bluetooth dongle to work, and that fixed the bluetooth mouse problem, but haven't figured out how to make the external dongle the default bluetooth controller yet. So I'm not using the USB hub...bummer.

On monitor cables, the cable that I had that was a new mini displayport to USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 cable, and it worked for about a week and a half, and just stopped working. So I figured out how I could use an HDMI cable, tried a random HDMI cable that I had lying around, and that's been 100% since.

On disk space, the mac mini that I have is only 256GB SSD. So I added a 500GB external SSD, a Samsung X5 (NVMe), runs like the wind *smile*. Very fast Thunderbolt 3 SSD, happy with it. Not cheap, but less expensive than having Apple put in a larger SSD. And I expect to see those getting cheaper as time goes on. Definitely enough fast storage for the time being.

I'm really happy with the mac mini aside from not being able to use a USB 3.0 hub. Still working on that one.

I got one of the early release i5/16GB RAM/500GB SSD 2018 Mac minis, dual monitor. When I first got it, I simply unplugged all the peripherals from my trusty old 2014 mini and plugged in the 2018. Had two problems: (1) flakey BlueTooth trackpad, “fixed” by plugging in the trackpad. (2) Wifi connection to the Internet gradually slowed then stopped while I was experimenting with various options for connecting/unconnecting peripherals to try to fix the Bluetooth problem. Very frustrating two weeks of lost productivity, though I learned a lot about radio interference in computers. I almost returned the 2018 mini then finally fixed the Internet connection problem simply by reinstalling Mojave using the Recovery mode. The 2018 mini has been rock solid since. I later installed a lovely 27” Dell USB-C monitor and run the second 27” monitor using HDML. The new 2018 mini is much faster than the old 2014 mini, which I sold.

My mm18 has been stable.

My only complaint (i haven't looked into) is my Ethernet connection
Instant wake up from sleep but I have to wait to connect to the internet. About 5 seconds.

Any help with this issue would be appreciated.

Thx

***i just turned off sleep mode to see if this fixes the problem***

***and it did----screw the planet***
