Ok good to know. Well I will definitely be buying either way. Great upgrade form 5s and at a decent price. I'm happy.

This was what I was personally hoping for, basically looks like a 5s refresh. I'd have to see the specs on each to see if it's really worth the cost of an upgrade, but at least I know there's a path for me if my 5s ever dies.

Would this be the most powerful compact phone on the planet ever?

It'll most certainly be touted as such.

After this announcement, I'm all in on the SE. Just gotta figure out which color - space grey (probably) or silver.

The question is what will the 7 bring besides a new design and a processor bump?

Personally couldn't care less, the Touch ID sensor on the 5s was already fantastic for me *shrug*

I was happy with it when I had a 6 Plus and my Air 2, but now that I use a 6S the Air 2 Touch ID feels SO SLOW. Although I'm sure if I were to pick up an SE I would be used to it in 2 days.

Although the 5S is my favorite design after switching to a 6/6+ the keyboard on the 4" screen is too cramped.

Apple has pulled off quite the accomplishment. No longer needing to innovate, or create high performance devices, they now exist effortlessly by simply remembering to affix the magic Apple Logo. At the zenith of the companies history, they're now free to do as much or little as they wish without consequences of any significance. A very unique operation indeed.

All of those fantastic and unique characteristics must explain why you so obsessively pine over Apple day after day on MRF.

I'm very tempted to get the iPhone SE. Currently using the iPhone 6S, I loved the 5S as it was probably my favorite iPhone of all time, my plan would be to get this and wait for the 7S (Always a little cautious of redesigns, I like the S models.)

Congratulations, you've adopted the same level of self congratulatory narcissism and superiority complex as Apple.
...says the guy who hates Apple so much, yet he has spent the time to pen more than 1,500 posts....

BTW, you may want to look up narcissistic; I'm not sure you're fully grasping what it means.
