I don't feel any need to. I'm designing with iOS 7/8, so I don't like changing UI elements unnecessarily.

In fact, the only reason the knobs/switches are themed is because of the pre-rendered shadow on the original, which is exactly what I though the iOS 7 redesign was supposed to remove.

are you using the beta version?

I just looked at the file system and I think the name of the icon for activator (beta 14) is "IconGlyph@2x.png"

is that what consilium shows for the icon name for activator?

When I renamed the icon this happened.

Hmm, the default icon mask should have cropped it for you, no?

No idea why the image is 124x124, but having a 2px 100% transparent 'border' around the original 120x120 image works. Designers: don't forget the image has to be pre-masked with the icon shape.

The image is loaded as a mask to the icon backdrop, rather than in the image's actual form. Whatever is loaded in there will act as a monochromatic mask, meaning I can't theme the beta Activator icon.

There is a solution, though I can't remember entirely how I did it. Unless Petrich adds a switch to turn on/off the new icon style, this fix will have to do. Go to:
/Applications/Activator/
and open Info.plist, you'll find a key/string referring to the icon style. Delete the whole thing and respring.
It might be a different file, located somewhere else. You might have to do some searching around. Sorry I can't be more helpful!

I did delete every single icon related string with no luck.

No where in the infoplist does it say anything about iconglyphs icons. But there they are.

he said icon style, not the icons themselves

do you see "UIBarStyleDefault" and then underneath, translucent?

Try deleting that and see if that works

I deleted translucent, but it didn't have any effect. What I don't get is that it doesn't say anything about using iconglyphs. Really weird. The info plist only list the normal type icons.

Yes! I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work.

The only thing that might be screwed up is the image at the top of the Consilium Settings app menu, but then it's just an image.

I don't know how to theme status bar elements. I just know how to change the string for network status.

Thanks but what this icon in localizable.strings on 3g this icon for new type of connections in usa thanks in advance
