so how do we know when the Cydia apps become 3.0 compatible?

also, can we make this a sticky thread with someone keeping updates on what is working?
Thanks,

SwirlyMMS
Cycorder
Installous
Installd (mobile installation 3.0)
Asvibra's work (3.0 version also is out)
Five Icon Dock
Reflective Dock

Intelliscreen (Works if its the only app installed, crashes messages app and potentially is what gave me spinning wheel of death earlier)

Ill update this once I get more stuff working correctly with each other.

Unless I'm missing something neither version of swirly will even install on 3.0

If I'm missing something please tell me how you found the 3.0 compatible version.

I'm having the same issues with StatusNotifier, the icons appear but the app crashes everytime I open it. It seems whenever I have it running it turns my lockscreen image black.

Also, I use the 'Normal' theme from Cydia and the font isn't working, and the icon for the text message app (from Apple) doesn't work because of the name change I'm assuming. I'll be playing around tonight SSHing the icons I guess.

5 icon dock works fine, and I was able to install backgrounder but haven't tried it out yet. When I first installed Winterboard at first the icon wasn't showing up anywhere on my springboard, but eventually it showed up.

I know 5 icon dock works but is anyone else having trouble with Stacks? i can't seem to get any of my apps to "stick" to it!

Hummmm... I let Cydia update and it works just fine.
Cydelete is working for me.

I guess i am just lucky as everything, both iTunes & Cydia is working except LogoMe.

You misunderstood me. My iPhone 3G 3.0OS is jailbroken, with Cydia and SBSettings installed. I used SBSettings' "Hide Icons", but the iPhone Spotlight Search will not find any apps (like QuickGold would).

So for now, I have all my apps showing (unhidden), until SBSettings gets updated to allow Spotlight to find the hidden icons.

By hiding apps or putting them into folders with Categories, Spotlight won't find your apps. So, it's not SBSettings, but how Spotlight is built.

lockdockbar gave me the sad phone after a reboot and would keep doing it. lucky I was able to uninstall it. so watch out for that.
ismart dialer is not compatible yet with 3.0
mcleaner works fine.
the cool thing was all my setting and such were still in place. I did not have to reconfigure anything.

LogoMe is a no go

Won't even complete the install.

Yeah, guess we will have to wait for an update.. :(

In other news, Intellisync is working for me as previously reported but has been experiencing strange behavior. It seems to randomly just turn itself off completely. I can't explain it, but it's easily fixed.

MobileLog 2.3 caused MobilePhone.app to crash until I removed it. Anyone else know of a nag beep reminder of missed calls/SMSs that nags more than twice?

im hearing that when you JB 3.0, the battery life dies MUCH quicker... is this true guys? cuz of so... ill pass unfortunately = /

I can't prove this, but I'm on a 3G with 3.0 and have had it both jailbroken and stock. Battery does seem to last longer stock (not jailbroken).
