This is a consumer camera, not a professional one. I don't care if the pros have a team of people to handle 1 (big) camera. I want something PRACTICAL.

So do professionals. If it's "professional" then money is involved, and if money is involved then so is limited time, and if limited time is involved you don't really want to be fiddling with a combo of buttons, Playstation-style, to get it to stay at a fixed shutter speed before each shot.

It's also going to need a lot of accessory help to make it something even a super-low budget indie filmmaker would consider shooting with.

HDMI uncompressed capture

Is someone able to take an uncompressed HDMI capture in 1080i mode to see if the 1080i image is uprezzed from 720P ?
There are ways to get manual control - check the dvxuser thread. But it would be cool if 11080i was actually 1080p/24p and not uprezzed..
