By the way, the three current stickies in this forum have come about from suggestions in this thread.

I'm working my way through this thread and am slowly figuring out what to do with some of the other suggestions... am also going to look at what we can do with the Guides and how to put some hooks into that as well. The links up the top in the yellow band to do with font IDing might be changed or put somewhere else. I need to some a bit of time with the Guides to see what is there and how we can use it.

The current assignment 'activity 1' is just the first trial of the assignments idea and I'm working on a way to streamline the process in future to get full involvement on assignment suggestions.
 
I'm not so sure I really understand that "activity" thread? Is it a contest for posting your user name in different fonts and/or colours?

Not so much a contest, there is no prize. Just an open-ended exercise in type and colour that might have another use down the line. ;)
