Zero regrets. I just got mine the other day and I love it. I have been debating for awhile between the 8+ and the X. I have never done any of the plus models and wanted to try the extra features they had this time around. I was afraid I wouldn't like the full screen of the X. It's taking some getting used to the last two days but I love it. The most I have ever spent on a phone, I got the 256g, but no regrets. Totally worth it in my book.

No regrets about buying an X at all, I was curious if it was going to be junk. Owning one confirmed my initial suspicions that it indeed was an unpolished beta device. Apple have a released a few duds over the years, no biggy hopefully things will get back to normal with functional products the next time around.

I think the biggest and most obvious improvement should be Face ID. I think it still works really well for what it is, but it’s evident reading throughout these threads that many share the same concerns how Face ID can be unreliable in certain positions or unsuccessful from unlocking the device with other reasons. But just like touch ID, Face ID will continually improve perhaps with hardware refinements with the sensors and software.

I like my X a lot, but only because I didn't have to pay to full monty. It's not worth it's full price imho. With their large pile of cash they could give us a break and lower the price, and still make loads of money.

Oh BTW of some are on the fence because of battery. Don’t believe the crappy battery life jive. If you do smart invert and use an OLED friendly background you will do just fine. Smart invert gets smarter with each release and I find most apps convert properly and many of them are adapting dark mode as it is.

It’s fairly difficult to complain against battery life on the phone when everybody’s battery life greatly varies depending on usage, settings, application usage, media, etc. No one will have the same battery life. Others have complained about the battery life on iPhone X, and others have said is the best battery life they have ever had On any iPhone. It’s all relative, but vastly different for everybody.

Yet battery life is still considered a metric when deciding on what phone to buy. I am simply saying that the news of crap battery life on the X as reported by various reviews in my experience has not exactly fallen the way presented. Of course as with all tech there is a saying in the tech community.

Individual mileage may vary.

None! Love my X.

I have to admit however I miss Touch ID. Face ID can annoy the Hell out of me
