Do AirPods fit better than EarPods? [MERGED]

This is common sense. It all depends on the person’s ears. How about you buy them and try them out. If you don’t like it, return them. You have 14 days. That’s more than enough. You make the call on waiting or not for the new AirPods.

EarPods are great when they stay in place, but they wiggle out of place within a few steps of walking. How much better do AirPods stay in place? Also, is it smart to buy AirPods now, or should I wait for the 2nd generation?

I’d wait until the IPad Pro/Mac event to see if anything is released then but otherwise don’t wait longer.

Mine never fall out, but I didn’t have a huge problem with EarPods either.

EarPods don’t stay in my ears at all. My AirPods almost never fall out. Completely different feeling for me. The wire on the EarPods causes them to sit differently and fall out much easier. I was concerned like you before but once I got them they were great.

My experience as well. EarPods vs AirPods is night and day. I was shocked—SHOCKED I tell you—to discover that AirPods fit just fine in my elfin ears.

Air Pods stay in my ear better but still not a great fit! I hate the wired buds and do not use them.

Same as other posters.. Earpods would not stay in, the cord pulled them out. I can't shake the Airpods out of my head.. is what I would say if I had actually tried that...

For me they fit good enough I would spend the money on air pods because of convenience because that’s what it is meant for. SQ sucks with them imho but their problem is they hurt my ears just like the EarPods do .
