Doesn’t bug me, but my expectations are different. I only do casual video viewing on my iPad. Even if it was a 16:9 screen it still wouldn’t be very immersive in my opinion. I *vastly* prefer my 55” plasma for almost any type of video.
But I guess I’m in the minority since the whole world seems to want bigger and bigger mobile screens, when even enormous mobile screens are still incredibly small by tv standards. Maybe I’m old.
