The iPhone 7's do survive drop tests well, but the cameras don't. That's likely the point of water ingress in the toilet case - the camera lens likely cracked, providing an entry point.

I went to iPhone school. He said that the 7 phone is supposed to be good for 200 feet & 30 minutes. So basically you could take it scuba diving. He said the only place water can get in is via the lightning opening. That sounds like a "he said - she said" story.

I have seen more than a few where someone is at a urinal and using their phone at the same time. Suspect the same goes on in the stalls too. For all sexes.
So yeah, it could get pissed on.
