Do People use iCloud for Mail

I wonder what will be next, if anything.
I remember calling Apple for some reason and when I gave them my email address he was shocked anyone was still using @Mac.com.
I'm gonna go full nerd and stick to using @mac.com just to show how long I've been using Apple for 🤓
Well, I was using a couple of web-based e-mail accounts when Apple came out with Mail. I still have one of them, and it's an @netscape.net address. I've never seen another one in my Inbox. I transitioned to @iCloud.com when the host of the second of my two accounts went bust.
The world is going to crap because it is not radically leaning right? Got ya. Makes sense.

I use iCloud regularly but it doesn’t always play nicely with other clients.
When I used android (unfortunately) it didn’t always play nice.
I haven’t tried it on windows 11/outlook.

You are 100% correct. I did forget about that one; BUT in my defense, I’m pretty sure that the @mac.com days were pre-MobileMe and Ran completely on the pre-cloud architecture.
