I have one intel mac and 2 ppc macs currently in my possession. The PPC macs probably end up doing more work in general (because of the dismal wireless performance on the Intel Mac Mini
). This is the upshot of the Intel transition really - potentially faster and more power-efficient processors that are well-suited to how Apple wants to build its computers (unlike, say a G5 being shoehorned into an iMac, dodgy capacitor and heat problems etc.). But with this comes a cost - you buy Intel, you buy Intel wireless, Intel graphics etc (the two drawbacks to this generation of Mini that weren't there when they were based on the G4). I imagine the next-gen Minis will improve, however.
