heh.. still have a 233MHz iMac Rev.A Bondi Blue. Runs like new. (Although I am hoping for a Mac Mini, as OS 8.6 is on it's last legs at Apple support.)

A new Mac Mini would definitely be a H-U-G-E improvement over your current 233MHz iMac G3 fatandlazy11. :)

Mac mini G4/1.42GHz
12" PowerBook G4/1.5GHz

The only things that are really slow are high-def movie playback and movie encoding... Apart from that I never really think "I need to upgrade".

On the other hand, I need to sell the PowerBook while it still has value (i.e. before Adobe releases Universal Binaries). :D

Good luck with that Yvan256, PowerPC based Macs seem to not be selling for their fair value with the switch to Intel- few people want to buy what they perceive to be "old" technology unless it is at a "steal of a deal" price. Although, you might be able to get a good price for your PowerBook G4 on eBay. :)

No, I'm looking to get a (hopefully updated) mini by the end of the summer, but for now I'm on my G4 mini.

Incidentally, this poll currently shows how skewed enthusiast fora generally are. :)

Yep, but I accidentally deleted the PowerPC architectures using Monolingual, so I need to reinstall OSX. Doh! at me. (This is my first Mac by the way.) ...and I kind of want the black Macbook now, so I might sell this in the near future to buy that one instead.

Running a G5 iMac, I actually ran a G3 400Mhz as my main machine from 1999 until about a year ago.

Ive been entering every contest to get an intel mac that i can find but the likely hood i will win is rather low so i guess i might have to get a job and pay for it myself.

Just one computer:

12 inch powerbook 1.33

Don't think I'll upgrade till there is a standard next generation type of media.....aka Bluray or HD-DVD
