I leave mine on all the time but put it on airplane when not using. If i knew i wasn't going to use it for a couple of days i would probably power down.

...so you've both noticed that turning off the wifi and bluetooth do increase the battery life then?

Yes for me I have noticed a small difference it battery life shutting those two things down. Also I don't want to be tempted to pick it up if I can't sleep. I just watch tv instead. I know it makes no sense but hey it works for me.

I turn my iPad Pro and my iPhone off every night. However, I don't charge them every night

I have an iPad Pro at work that I haven’t used all week. With Bluetooth and WiFi enabled, it was at 94% when I opened it today. Not too worried about battery drain.

It's a no brainer I turn my iPad mini 2 off it keeps the battery from draining when your not on it. I don't know why anyone would leave it on 24/7.
Pretty certain we’ve seen overwhelming anecdotal evidence in this thread as to why one would. Did you bother reading it?

Yes I did read it but still it doesn't seem like a good idea to me to leave it on all the time. At least 2 me.
That’s how they are engineered. There are no moving internals which are suspended when not in use. Also, Apple never says in any documentation to power off.
