I see most f ya'll wasted money on MBP's. I use mine to the fullest.

I like my iPad, but it will NEVER replace my MBP loaded with

Protools
Logic
Audacity
Reason 4
Recycle
Photoshop
Plugins, VST's Galore

When the iPad can do 5% the things my MBP could do, it would be loved. :apple:

Threads like this keep me encouraged :)

I have really bad buyers remorse after ordering the 64gb wifi+3g model even though I KNOW I will love it and last time I was home I saw soooo many places where I would have loved to have an iPad vs my laptop.

I almost thought about canceling the order but I know when I touch it I'll adore it (I can't go see one in person until R and R because I work in a hostile location). I'll just have to wait till my order arrives and hope I love it :)

I also kind of need one for development anyway :)

I don't want to hijack the thread but I figured my question wouldn't of been worth creating a new one. So here it is, does the iPad heat up at all? Will the back of it heat up my lap or whatever it is resting on? I ask these questions because I use my laptop for just surfing the web and streaming netflix. However, my whole lap gets pretty warm and I then sweat when going to bed. Will I encounter this problem also? My guess is no but only an iPad owner could answer my questions.

No, the iPad never gets hot or warm which is pretty magical :)

The reason why I love the iPad so much is because it doesn't heat up like my MBP does...much easier on the frank and beans ;)
