...is that really the Celestial Teal colour as on Apple's website, Celestial Teal looks completely different and much lighter:

It must be the lighting in the previous photo. Mine looks much lighter.

Tell you what, I love the sport loop now. Soo comfortable.

Will wear it in the pool tomorrow and see what it’s like after it’s wet.

The Black Sports loop has red, yellow and blue fibers in it, they're subtle but in some light it almost has a deep burgundy sheen to it. I believe the Nike loop is all black with the 3M reflective fibers but I cannot confirm as I don't have that one...yet.

Love my Nike Hyper Grape Sport Loop. First non-metal or non-leather band I have bought. I really want my lugs to match my Stainless Steel Black S4 watch so that has kept me away from most SLs (the NHG has black lugs that match effectively perfectly), but I am so pleased with how this feels I will probably start adding more.

I must admit that the Sport Loop has won me over. At first I was kind of underwhelmed by it. My S4 came with the seashell (light gray) sport loop. I thought it looked nice for a fabric band, but I was concerned that the velcro wouldn't be secure enough, or that it would pull at the fabric and cause it to fray and wear prematurely. I was also worried other things catching on the loop fabric. It has been my most frequently worn watch band of the last 4 months, and still looks new and holds securely. I just keep going back to it because it is so comfortable. My other watch bands are the sport band that came with my S0, a knockoff leather loop (because Apple refuses to make a 38/40mm size), a knockoff woven nylon, and a third party leather strap.

I'm a big fan of the loop style bands because of the infinitely adjustable fit. My style is mostly casual. The leather loop is squarely in my aesthetic. I only wear my Sport band during workouts/bike rides. I will sometimes wear it in the Summer. It's not my favorite, but I like how easy it is to clean after getting sweaty and/or dirty. The Sport Loop breathes better and feels lighter. Easy-ish to clean, but not as easy as the Sport Band. I prefer the look/style of the Sport Loop to the Sport Band or the woven nylon bands. I think I will actually buy another in a darker color like the Spruce Fog or Nike black.

Actually they are easy to clean. Tuck them in a jeans, shorts pocket or throw them in a small mesh laundry bag. Throw them in the washing machine then let them air dry. Simple.

Thanks for the tip! Never thought to just throw it in the laundry. I think the Sport Band still has the edge on easy cleaning, but the Sports Loop is way nicer to wear IMHO.

Just got Cerulean - really like the beach vibe.

My favorite band! Great for my Florida lifestyle.

I usually just fasten the sport loop band around something. Last time I just threw it in the washer on its own. Easy-peasy.

Typically, if I want to clean my sports bands, I'll just shower with my watch. Or sometimes rinse it in the sink.
