I'm picking up the new Product Red loop at some point today. I'll post a couple of pictures once I have it.

Really like the new product red loop. It’s a lot darker than on the Apple site.

I really like the newer colors of sport loops. Didn’t really pay attention to them before that but very happy with the feel.

Going to pick up a red loop! It's not listed on the site as available for a limited time, so hopefully it's now part of the permanent collection.

I picked up two new ones, Storm Gray and Indigo. Colors on both are wonderful, both look great. Unfortunately, these have been shortened by two inches by comparison to the original sport loops. For many this won't be an issue, but for larger wrists/hands it means getting them on/off is much more difficult. I now have to slide the band all the way to the end so it's flush with the lug to get it on and off. Add to that, due to placement of the hook & loop the band is difficult to slide through once the watch is on the wrist. Still, it provides comfortable wear with my 8 inch + wrist. I really wish they'd either make two sizes in these or add at minimum another inch to the band length, preferably the two they removed.

Yikes, that’s a big change! No bueno!

I still love my Indigo Sport Loop, & picked up the Nike Bright Crimson/Black which is nice too.

I'm looking for another Sport Loop that has multiple colors in it, like Indigo does.

Midnight Blue looks like a good one, but I'm having trouble finding it! Are Sports Loops that are out of print harder to find than Bands?

I'm also looking at Cape Cod, Hibiscus, and Smokey Mauve (to have one reflective one)...

Based on my experience, the Sport Loops are on par with the Sport bands give or take and depending on which color you're looking for. If you're patient, one will pop up. They always do.

I saw Cape Cod in the Apple Store a couple of days ago and it looks like a Carolina blue to me. Nice color but definitely not multi colored as you're looking for. I haven't really paid much attention to Hibuscus but I believe it's about the same as Cape Cod, pretty much one color with a slightly darker variation in the band. Definitely not as much variation as Indigo--which btw I agree is pretty amazing. Since I bought it, Indigo has been my go to band other than when I've been in the gym.

Thanks, that was my take on them too! I ended up ordering Hibiscus & Cape Cod with the ebay coupon.

I'll stay on the lookout for Midnight Blue loops!

Here's my brief review after wearing each for a few days:

Both are the comfy "sweatpants" of the Apple Watch lineup that you already know & love.

Cape Cod - lighter blue than I was expecting from the colors. More uniform colors, a cape cod thread & a lighter thread. I was hoping it was darker.

Hibiscus - more complex colors, Hibiscus thread, white, & purplish thread. I like this one more. The colors are also a bit more vibrant.

I really liked the sport loop at first, but now I feel that it doesn’t breathe enough and it takes quite some time to dry if it gets wet. It’s really uncomfortable when wet, even chafing a little. I like the idea of it, and the ability to adjust it almost infinitely. I find though since it doesn’t have fixed holes, it can be a little difficult to get it on good on the first try.

I’d take it over the sport band any day, and I like it. I just don’t love it. I have the black one by the way. I like the way the red looks on the space gray, even though I’m not that into red. Just not sure about spending money on another sport loop, but given how long it takes to dry I need two bands.

Hesitated quite some time in bying the indigo loop. Having used it for a few days now, I don’t regret my decision - it’s very comfortable and looks great. I don’t wear it while I’m exercising though, so no idea how it holds up in those circumstances.

A special thanks to @twanj for your great pictures here and on some other threads, they made my purchase decision a lot easier.

Nice! Indigo looks great from a distance, but even cooler up close with the individual fibers. Glad you like it.

& you're welcome! I've got a few more pictures to post. :)

As a side note, I think the Apple retail prices for bands are too high. The recent Best Buy sale at 50% off was really nice. If the normal prices were like that, I think people would buy 2-3x more. Or at least, I'd expect there are a lot of people who only have the band their watch comes with, or maybe 1 extra. It's a really nice fun part of the Watch, & I think the high price dissuades people from experimenting & finding something they really like.

Or each Watch could come with a Loop and a Band.

I really love the Sport Loop! I've been a bit of a Sport Loop evangelist to people that have an AW.

Indigo is still my fav, but Smokey Mauve with the reflective stuff is cool too.
As mentioned, the different color fibers in Indigo are what I like. Cape Cod & Hibiscus are pretty, but not as interesting.

Storm Gray looks like it might be interesting. Possibly Red too.

What are some of your favorite colors? There really aren't that many available compare to Sport Bands, it seems.

I don't know that I've seen Nike Black/Pure Platinum pop up for sale? Is that really rare, or just get mixed in with Black and Nike Black?

I've been wearing my Black Sport Loop on my 44mm SS SB Apple Watch S4 for ages now I love it.

The Sport Loop does 'remember' the position you wear it as the loop part, will create an indentation in the fabric so you'll instantly know har far to fasten the velcro end, by where this is.

Sure, but there is some flexibility to that indentation so it's not exactly the same every time. It gets easier but I still have to readjust it almost every time. I now use the woven nylon during the day and it's been great. I still use my sports loop during the night if I'm wearing my watch to bed, because it's slightly more comfortable.

The trick is, to not stretch the band when you fasten it.

Just put your wrist through the strap, see where the indentation is on the loop and then pull the velcro end and fasten it WITHOUT stretching the band. I can get mine in the 100% same exact position every time so the band never needs adjusting during the day.

I too have several genuine woven bands and I also find these comfy but mainly keep these for the warmer summer months as the band is so super lightweight and thin.

My favorite is still the Nike Red/Black that came with my S3. I’ve got lots of these, though— I’m at the point that I will only by a regular band if something really special comes along. The pink and orange this time around are too similar to the ones I got last year (though the current orange is nicer). I picked up the product red recently and really enjoy it.

I didn't think I was going to like the sport loop. When I first saw them I thought they were kind of ugly and I thought the sport band made the watch look cleaner and more modern. In some way I still do think the sports band looks better but I've really grown to love the sports loop. It's by far the most comfortable and some of the colors are very interesting. I've added about 5 to my collection.

I love them. I own the Nike Reflective Black and Midnight Fog. Plus 10 3rd Party which are surprisingly really good for 3rd party versions.
