Right, who has an OFFICIAL Apple Watch Band 42MM Lemonade Sport Band they'd like to sell me?
Pretty please (can't find an official one online, anywhere...!)

Love the Sport loop. My new Tahoe Blue which is probably my favourite one yet.

I don't think they fade, just get dirty. Personally think they are much easier to clean than the Woven Nylons.

Decided to get a 3rd Party Spicy Orange loop from Amazon as I couldn't find one in stock from Apple, tried evilBay and a few other used sites.

I have to admit I'm really impressed with it so far, it's only been a few days so can't comment on how long it's going to last. Looks and feels like the Official Apple one. If you compare the 3rd Party one and an Apple one, you can tell there are difference. For £12 I'm happy, I'll continue to try and find an Official one though.

I also like the Nylon bands however, on my thin wrist I have to wear the Nylon band with the buckle in the 4th hole from where it attaches to the watch. ANy tighter and its too tight, but any looser, and its too loose. Also, even though the buckle is in this 4th hole, I still find the band swivels around my wrist sometimes!
[doublepost=1526912531][/doublepost]...so regarding the Sport Loop - whats the correct way to wear this?

i.e Do people have the doubled up end, facing you (on the inside of your wrist), or away from you (on the outside of your wrist)? When I wear my Leather Loop, I always have the doubled up end, facing me, on the inside of my wrist....

Fact: Only sociopaths wear the doubled end facing out.

Am I the only one that is indifferent about the sport loop?

Only ever had the series 4 and now have 3 bands. Sport band that came with it, a volt sport loop that I picked up for $19 at my local apple retailer, and now the nike Platinum sport band.

My favorite hands down is the sport band it came with. The sport loop is ok, but the sport band is SOOOO comfy, I hardly notice I am wearing a watch. I am used to wearing a large SS Citizen Radio Atomic Clock.

The Sport loop isn't bad, but I feel it more than the sport band which is soft and pliable. I get a scratchy sensation from the loop, and where it doubles over is somewhat bulky and annoying.

I simply don't see what all the fuss over the loop is about...

The nike sport band is ok, but is much stiffer than the stock sport band. I need to give that some wear time, so the verdict is still out on that.

  • Lightweight--like wearing nothing
  • Easy to put on and take off
  • Can make micro-adjustments for a perfect fit
  • Super comfortable--can wear it to monitor my sleep
  • Breathes and is well-suited for exercise and hot weather
  • Dries quickly after towel-drying
  • Can wash it in the washing machine

I am not fused about them either.
However, if they made the ends that connect to the watch, as wide as the sport band one, I might consider it.

In its current state, I often feel the band looks too narrow, towards the section connecting to the watch.
Weird, I know, but...

I like the sport loop, but for some reason, the plastic nub at the end of the band really bugs me. I wish it were a flat tab instead. I wear the Milanese band as my daily band, because like the infinite adjustable bands and I can just rinse this with water.

I got mine with my s4 Nike cellular. I’d never buy it. Connectors are plastic and it’s cheap feeling. This is not a 60 dollar band. Not a smack talk comment but this strap could not cost more than a buck to make.

It is nowhere near the old woven nylon for quality. If it’s free ok but don’t ever pay for one.

I’ve had the S3 Nike Sport Band, a fake Amazon pleather band, imitation Milanese band and now the S4 Nike+ loop. The loop is by far the lightest most breathable band I’ve worn. It’s also soft and the most comfortable, especially at night. Glad I went with this one on the S4.

It’s a great sleeper band but plastic and cheap. Don’t pay Apple price for this. Now the real Nike rubber band, best for workouts.

Weird, I know, but...

I tried the Seashell Sport Loop on once. It didn’t feel very comfortable, though I liked that it was more snug than the Sport Band. Perhaps it becomes more comfortable after wearing it for a while?

I also had aesthetic problems with how it doesn’t curve flush into the watch where the band meets the watch case, as other Apple bands do. Instead, the Sport Loop’s straps shoot straight into the watch at a sharp angle. Offputting.

The Sport Loop isn’t as durable as the Sport Band (at the same price) and requires more cleaning (putting it through the laundry on cold + air drying it) more often to keep it looking, smelling and feeling good.

The 3D renders I see on Apple’s site are, of course, amazing to look at and very tempting.
But what am I missing here? I see some people really like their Sport Loops, and more power to them.
