When the sport loop first came out, I wasn't sure if I was a fan or not. After getting one for Christmas, I have to say that I'm now a fan. I wear the black version on my SBSS every day. I was always a fan of the nylon buckle bands and now i can say the same about the sport loops.

I think as long as you stay conservative on the colors, you can wear a nylon band for a number of occasions , from working out to business casual (provided you wash it after working out! :)). The nylon bands are very versatile and well worth it, IMO.

I live the sport bands. I have the nike (crimson/black), the white seashell and Apple black. I don't wear the nike crimson (exclusive to the watch I bought) so I will probably sell it bit not because it is not comfortable.

I'll buy it!

I find the black ..too colorful....
I might change it to woven black for more formal look...
I love the colorful look with the black band.

I've got the black/platinum and spicy orange sport loops and my wife has the pink sand. I just ordered the flash and am tempted to get the black band as well. #sportloopwhore

I have seen the loops on the table, was out of town, but wasn’t interested in them at the time. I decided since everyone raves about them I’d try one. I bought a Nike crimson online, brand new but no box, anyway it arrived today and I have to ask.. are they just stiff at first or What..? This isn’t comfortable to me. I have tender wrists but geeze. The edges are so crisp it’s not something I want to wear.

Just me? Just “new”? Just Nike? Think this thing will be on eBay tonight. I really wanted to like it, was thinking already about wanting seashell and blue.

I guess the edges are stiff, but I've never thought about it. I don't feel the edged when I'm wearing it.

I wouldn't say it's stiff, except the end where the velcro is maybe? As for the edges, how tight do you have it? It's never been remotely an issue for me, but I have seen people who want to strangle themselves with their watch bands.

I looked at all my other bands a few days ago, and just didn't have an interest in any of them. The sport loop is so pretty, and so comfortable. Now I just need more vibrant color choices.

I tried different tightness.. just don’t like the way the material feels. I put it on eBay.

That is exactly how I felt about my new, spicy orange sport loop. It's lying for two weeks now on my desk. Don't like the material, don't like the fitting. I really wanted to like it ... but I will not succeed. Mine is also going on sale. No experiences on eBay yet, so I'll have to go into that soon.

I've had the Nike+ black stripe band from last year, so I can't remember what it was like when new, only echoing others how comfortable it was. I bought the Midnight Fog more recently so wore that again in light of your post. It's definitely not stiff around the wrist, but it's not a soft band along the width. I can see if you bent your wrist, it could dig in for some.

My favourite material, makes 3rd party silicone bands, even Apple's silicone iPhone cases feel... dirty. I find it kinda weird I need to move to a different hole sometimes, and the best fit may be between holes...

I bought my first Sport Loop around August 2017 specifically the Black model.

I’ve got to admit, it is the most comfortable band Apple has to offer. The diameter of the strap can be fitted on your wrist regardless of how small or large your wrist size is.

The only annoying thing for me is, the nylon material tends to retain sweat and water and over time it will give off an odour. I mean you can always remedy this by rinsing it with a mild soap and let it air dry for an hour. I’ve switched to the new Nike Sport Band but I might be going back to the Sport Loop instead due to the comfort.

I do like it but I returned mine. I don’t like the way Apple treat their 38mm Watch like the child they never wanted.
I am a male with 170mm wrists and I prefer the way the 38mm looks on my wrist but the sport loop is not long enough, I also find the straps are to narrow and there’s no leather loop.

Even with the 42mm, it can be hard to remove the Sport Loop over my hand without loosening pretty much all the way. If Apple were to make a longer loop for the 38mm, you'd be lamenting it only came in Black!

I bought the Nike version of the watch so it came with the white sport band with holes. After a week I bought the woven nylon and the sport loop (Nike black). Of all the bands the sport loop is most comfortable followed by the woven nylon. But I use the sport band for running because it’s the easiest one to rinse off the sweat.

Just got my sports loop. WOW... feels great and so much cooler than the Nike band. I've only been wearing it 30 mins but already it is my favorite band. Love that I can type without gouging my work laptop's wrist wrest - or feeling like a pin is pushing into my wrist - it feels like it is 1/2 the weight too vs a Nike band. Win win.

Love how it fits perfectly - no 2 lug positions that don't quite work.

Anyone have a black sport loop or Nike+ version they don’t like/want let me know as I’m looking to get one.

I also have one (Spicy Orange) and I find myself using it more often then others. It is mainly because of how adjustable it is on sizing.

I think I'm going to try a sports loop next. I recently picked up my first woven nylon band over Easter & that's become my favorite band (before I've just used the sports bands)

If the sports loop is more comfortable.....

I also like the Nylon bands however, on my thin wrist I have to wear the Nylon band with the buckle in the 4th hole from where it attaches to the watch. ANy tighter and its too tight, but any looser, and its too loose. Also, even though the buckle is in this 4th hole, I still find the band swivels around my wrist sometimes!
[doublepost=1526912531][/doublepost]...so regarding the Sport Loop - whats the correct way to wear this?

i.e Do people have the doubled up end, facing you (on the inside of your wrist), or away from you (on the outside of your wrist)? When I wear my Leather Loop, I always have the doubled up end, facing me, on the inside of my wrist....

I love mine which I just bought a week ago - I didn't know how it would work for swimming. It works great! And I have very narrow wrist and the sport's loop molds itself to my arm MUCH better than any of the other sport's bands have. I'm very pleased. I got the black platinum Nike one.

I'm back. I tried again and now love them.. maybe there was something about that one I tried way up there in the thread. I've got the black/platinum and khaki now.. soft and comfortable! I even ordered a seashell. So I'm a convert. I think I need a marine green or Tahoe blue.. anyone getting rid of those cheap? :)
