I ordered this one from Amazon wanting a deep black band...

https://www.amazon.com/QIENGO-XMS59...375N/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8&th=1

The quality is really nice. It's softer than Apple's OEM, and the band itself has a little more stretch to it. I like this BUT, like the others, it is not as wide as the original, only slightly, but enough to bother me some. I REALLY want this exact band, deep black color, and wider... Looks like finding the perfect band will be a challenge, unless Apple just makes a deep black themselves. Also, $15 compared to $50 is quite nice.

Yea I don't like how the black OEM Apple loop looks more reddish in certain light. Would love to have an all black strap.

That's actually one of the parts of the strap I love - It's not just boring black (as a lot of stuff are these days) but vibrant and changing in different lighting conditions, but still classy and comfy
I just ordered one to wear at work. I like the fact the current black is not totally dark black. I got a Seashell one, too but it’s kind of boring because the main part is just gray. I used to like Sport Bands but haven’t been wearing them as much as I used to. They’re comfy like a pair of sweat pants:)

I love them. Have the Nike black one and a couple of knock-offs. Wish I could find the red one. I've ordered a few but it's the Elastic Pink and not Crimson Red

Picked up a black sports loop last night and I’m loving it!

So much lighter, softer and breathable than the leather and sports bands that I’ve been wearing.

Does everyone wear theirs with the folded lug at the bottom of the watch?

I know the instructions says swap the position so that the folded end is at the top during swimming.

Anyone tried both and can share their thoughts?

I end up wearing it whichever way I put it in. It doesn’t make any difference to me in terms of comfort or look.

I saw a Nike Black one on eBay yesterday. It's been bid up to $86 USD already with several days to go on the auction. I saw another one with a "Buy it Now" price of $175 USD.

I know these bands can't be purchased separately, but they're still just Sport Loops. Amazing what people will pay!

Maybe I need to put my Black Nike Sport Loop on eBay. ;)

NVM, I like the strap.

Hopefully, you can find a red one for a reasonable price.

EDIT: here's the eBay auction for the black one (currently at $85.99 USD):

I’m a crazy person and got a second watch partly because I wanted the Nike crimson and black. The other part was simply because I have other bands I didn’t think went well with the gold. Bands either look amazing or terrible with the gold. So, now I can mix up my look even more.

You're not crazy. I have a SBSS Series 3 (with black Sport Band), but also got a Nike Series 3 with the black Sport Loop as well. I use the black Nike band with the SBSS. I bought a "black" Sport Loop (which isn't really very black with all the colour specks) separately. It actually looks great with the Space Grey Aluminum watch.

I just got the seashell sport loop. So far so good. It’s very comfy. And more importantly dries very quickly.

I had the AW2 in the original gold. I agree.... finding bands that looked good with it was challenging. Now I have the AW3 in stainless steel and would like to buy a sports loop but don't know if it would look right. I don't see many photos here with that combination.

I’m sure the SS would look fine with sport loops! I wanted the SS, but I couldn’t justify the extra cost for a second watch (especially because I am not one of those who has had a bad experiences with aluminum— I bang my watches around accidentally all the time and have never had a scratch or dent), and this way I was able to get my favorite sport loop (the Nike crimson/black).

I manage to snug slightly used nike loop at SGD50.... looks good on my SS..

Try swapping the adapters. When the band is still stiff, it may look bulky under the Watch, but it will sit flatter. This way you won’t see the end of the strap.
