I love my sports loop so much that I just bought a 6-pack, so I could switch them out when I get tired of my favorite violet.

I don’t even have any other type. I tried on a bunch at the Apple Store, but none were as comfortable as the loop.

I tried the Seashell Sport Loop on once. It didn’t feel very comfortable, though I liked that it was more snug than the Sport Band. Perhaps it becomes more comfortable after wearing it for a while?

I also had aesthetic problems with how it doesn’t curve flush into the watch where the band meets the watch case, as other Apple bands do. Instead, the Sport Loop’s straps shoot straight into the watch at a sharp angle. Offputting.

The Sport Loop isn’t as durable as the Sport Band (at the same price) and requires more cleaning (putting it through the laundry on cold + air drying it) more often to keep it looking, smelling and feeling good.

The 3D renders I see on Apple’s site are, of course, amazing to look at and very tempting.
But what am I missing here? I see some people really like their Sport Loops, and more power to them.

I have to step in here to correct myself. After wearing a Sport Loop for the better part of a week, it is far more comfortable than I gave it credit for. I’m still getting used to the asymmetry of how the loops appear as they jut into the case. And it’ll remain to be seen how durable and clean my loop will appear over time. But man, was I wrong about comfort.

I wore the sport band that came with my AW4 for the very first time this week just to try one. I loved it, despite it being white. On Day 1 I bought a storm grey sport loop that is great, but I will be buying another sport band and and a violet sport loop the next time I feel like I have too much money. (Like never?) I also bought an Arrow and Board leather band the first week which I highly recommend. (A&B medium brown Porter with SS matching hardware) My sport loop gets the most mileage. I don’t notice it getting very wet working out but I guess that just indicates I’m a p***y. S

I do really enjoy the sport loop bands. I have the Nike 44mm black, and the electric pink / blue from last year. I just ordered two Inteny brand knockoffs from Amazon and I must say they are nearly identical, for 1/4 of the price. I picked up the Seashell and the standard black (with the color flecks in it). The only difference is that they are a touch longer than the apple ones (1/8” maybe), and while not as soft, they are 95% there. They have also fixed the
Decided to get a 3rd Party Spicy Orange loop from Amazon as I couldn't find one in stock from Apple, tried evilBay and a few other used sites.

I have to admit I'm really impressed with it so far, it's only been a few days so can't comment on how long it's going to last. Looks and feels like the Official Apple one. If you compare the 3rd Party one and an Apple one, you can tell there are difference. For £12 I'm happy, I'll continue to try and find an Official one though.

They have also fixed the width finally, so they are full width of the lugs like the Apple band.

I might have to go with Spicy Orange for Halloween. Thanks for next day shipping amazon!

I'm surprised how well it's held up, thought it might have fallen to bits by now. But it's still looking great. Still can't find a genuine Apple one for sale, I've setup an alert on eBay, just in case one does popup.

I just got one last one for a while (I now have eight sports loops), and I’m thrilled with the color saturation, which is deeper than many others, and even deeper than the pictures on Amazon.

This is it, and you can see the color on my wrist (in natural light) vs. the stock picture.

Crep protect (trainer cleaner) in some warm water, with the soft bristle brush, rinsed off in clean water, then left to dry naturally.

Have you cleaned the old woven nylons as well? I have one that could use some cleaning

No I haven’t. I’ve only got one in which is the black and grey stripped one. I’ll try at the weekend and let you know how it comes out.

So a while back I purchased a black sport loop, and I didn't really wear it much. Lately I have been giving it another shot and although I'm not wild about the multi colors in the band, I have to say this thing is comfortable. Somewhere on this forum someone likened them to the "sweatpants of watch bands" So very true! I'm still not wild about how far the loop side sticks out as it comes through the lugs, it's just really so comfortable to wear. These fit a wide variety of wrist sizes so that's a win for Apple and a win for the consumer.

I'm considering ordering another but I'm not overly thrilled with the current options. Cape Cod Blue, Storm Gray or Indigo seem to be the leading candidates. Does anyone have photos of any of these on their wrists? Sock Apple photos never seem to show the way they look in person.

As for cleaning woven nylon bands I used Shout to clean up one of mine and it worked very well.

I personally like Indigo a lot. Here's some pics on Space Grey:

I wore the Milanese Loop to work then a bachelor party last night, but when I got home I put on an Indigo Sport Loop. As far as being "sweatpants", it's definitely comfy to sleep with.

I’ve been buying knock offs from AliExpress and I’m very impressed with them.. you can get all 3 for much less than the cost of one at Apple :) I wasn’t able to stand the offbrand sports bands because of silicone material, but the sport loops have been great!

Attached are pics of storm gray, nectarine, and cape cod blue.

I wasn’t a fan at first.. thought they felt cheap.. wore the black that came with the watch for a little bit and fell in love with how comfortable it was.. so, I found some cheap knock offs and have bought several. They might be slightly less soft, but imo it’s hardly noticeable.

i bought a few sport loops from china at around $5 each... seems like pretty good quality so far. the hisbiscus one has a tight fight on one end, but the others go on nicely. got red, white and blue just in time for veterans day! the white one glows as u can see in the picture.

Indigo. First is natural light.

And Flash Light, which looks very different in person, so I’m including it too.
