I considered the paperlike because I do a lot of digital art on my Pro, however I also do a lot of photo editing and portfolio presentation on it and prioritise the visual accuracy over the textured drawing.

I haven't used a screen protector on my iPads over the years, but I'm considering it now since I use the Apple Pencil 2 on the new iPP. I plan on using the Pencil extensively for note taking, and I'd prefer to avoid scratches however small they may be. I've never liked the look of screen protectors, but it might be worthwhile for this type of usage.

What's you guys toughts about Paperlike? I'm a new iPad user and don't know too much about accessories and stuff. I see a lot a sponsorship of them on YouTube videos and don't know how much is about quality or is worth the price.

I have kids. I put a protector on everything. Even the front of the microwave. :p

I've gone "protectorless" off and on and inevitably, I'll notice a microscratch and a subtle "rainbow line" on my screen. Then I feel guilty and go back to a screen protector. The displays look better plain but I don't want to risk accidental damage.

I've tried a matte plastic protector for better pencil feelz but it doesn't feel close enough to paper to justify the drastic loss in screen quality so I tend to prefer the tempered glass ones.

"Worth the price" is subjective. I don't think PaperLike is worth it. I use iCarez matte protectors on my touchscreen devices and they work well for me.

I use screen protector for all my mobile devices (iphone, ipad, applewatch), except macbook (use casing only). It makes me feel “protected” and feels my devices always in good conditions.

Paperlike is a good one. But you should research it online to get the pros and cons of it.

I don't use screen protectors for my iPads and I've never had any crazy scratches, my older iPad ive had for over 2 years and often used by a 5 year old and it has 3 scratches that are visible at the right angle. It also has some of those micro scratches that are difficult to spot. The feel of the actual glass on iPads and iPhones can't be matched when it has a screen protector. But I also don't really ever use cases much on my devices either.

I use a tempered glass on my iPad Pro 12.9" 1st Gen, since I bought it.
Never had a problem using the Apple Pencil on it, it doesn't interfer with it.

The screen glass reduces the touch a little bit
