That’s how I feel about Microsoft Windows. I regularly switch from Windows to various flavors of Linux to macOS (usually each day). It’s always nice to get back to using macOS even if it was only some hours with other operating systems.I don't 'like' an OS. I just use it. I don't 'dislike' an OS either. These things are too mature to make any sort of difference to me.

I bought Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro‘s. They are studio referencing headphones with which you can hear very clearly, but they aren’t the best for actual listening. You make music with headphones? which headphone?
My Mac is still on Sequoia but I did upgrade my iPad. iPadOS 26 does actually introduce new features that are useful on a 12.9" iPad Pro with a trackpad and keyboard. I was forced to upgrade my iPhone because Apple stopped supporting the previous version of iOS on iPhones that can install iOS 26.seems like this release gets more flack than iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 as time moves along.
Dunno what it is, but now that the dust has settled and it's a few months past x.0 people on X are getting tired of iOS 26, but less forgiving for Mac since that's an 'essential productivity device' for them or something. IDK.
I just got an M4 iPad Pro that came with iOS 18 and think I might stick with it for a while. 26.2 is much better than 26.0 was on my iPad mini 7 that made me truly regret it for a while, but I dont have a burning desire to upgrade it either.
I don't really want to downgrade my M2 15 inch Air out of laziness, but it's nice that I could if I wanted to.
Anyways, go ahead and state your opinion.
I think the most grating thing is the brightness flicker bug I am experiencing intermittently. Usually a reboot will fix it for a while but then it comes back with a vengeance. Performance and battery life overall seem ok.
...I don't like Launchpad being gone but I will deal. Overall I'm probably in undecided as I dont hate it, but it's mostly nothing really improved either lol

Tahoe Added a Finder Option to Resize Columns to Fit Filenames
The unpolished version of the feature we have today only reiterates my belief that Tahoe is a mistake to be avoided. It’s a good idea though, and there aren’t even many of those in Tahoe.daringfireball.net
Anecdotally, Gruber is famously sticking with Sequoia, and he's a total Mac fanboy.
Yes, true. I remember when Catalina came out...the same things (complaints) were said. By the time Catalina was finished and Apple moved on, it to me was a decent OS. I still have two Macs on it and would STILL be using it more often "if" my current software was supported. I did not have any issues with Catalina once Apple got past version .3 or so. I actually liked Catalina, and I don't mind Tahoe.Honestly, Tahoe feels much more pleasant than, for example, Catalina. I haven't encountered any bugs so far, and frankly, I'm a bit too old to complain about every little thing. The next update is sure to come. Besides, MTN already stated back then that a macOS version isn't truly usable until .2.
