I was as of yesterday...what has changed since?Anyone still having issues with the settings?
I was just wandering if it was safe to use again, I gave up after all the consistent bugs and problems and was hoping apple ironed them out by now at leastI was as of yesterday...what has changed since?
Why should mobil data have to be on to listen to downloaded music? I would expect such from the likes of FB but Apple is not THAT stupid. What about their customers who don't have unlimited accounts? No, I don't think this is the real issue.Well the issue is the song only stops when your mobile data is off for music. I have tried it. When you turn off mobile data the songs stop at 15 sec and everything is fine with mobile data on for music. I tried signing out of iCloud and login again. Nothing worked but I found the fix for me. Keeping mobile data on fixed the problem for me.
That was my thoughts when I was on our plane flight. I purposely downloaded 200 songs to my iPad mini 5 to listen to and it was happening constantly. Why should mobil data have to be on to listen to downloaded music? 'Cellular Data'...'Use cellular data for streaming, updating your Library, and loading artwork'. No, I don't think this is the cause of our outages. Mine is 'off'...and has always been off as it was when Spatial/DA first started and WORKED for a few days...must be some other hidden issue. That was my thoughts when I was on our plane flight. Have you left the house/ your wi-if and roamed? Do you have cell/streaming on? Have you been able to download or ‘Shazam’ any content and play it off-line?I signed out of media & purchases from my iCloud account then signed back in and it fixed the 15 sec issue on all my devices.
I didn't say apple is stupid. I just share how the problem fixed for me. and am not stupid either. when I keep the data on for music , it didn't consume any data for downloaded music but my music keep playing but its stopping at 15 sec when mobile data is off for music. I hope it clears the matter. Why should mobil data have to be on to listen to downloaded music? I would expect such from the likes of FB but Apple is not THAT stupid. Not really...and I was not in any way calling YOU stupid. Sort of speaking 'tongue in cheek' so to say. Still don't understand why the data would have to be on but will give it a try. So...the music you were playing when the data was on was 'downloaded' music???I didn't say apple is stupid. Q: Just 'media and purchases' without fully signing out of your Account? How so please?I signed out of media & purchases from my iCloud account then signed back in and it fixed the 15 sec issue on all my devices.
Did that fix either issue?Anyone else having an issue with music pausing randomly, on top of the 15 sec. bug? It’s obvious that the issue is either 14.6, Dolby Atmos, or both.
Currently, the only luck I’m having is removing the problematic downloaded songs, and redownloading them without “download in Dolby Atmos” enabled.
did not have to sign out of my iCloud account, just media and purchases.Q: Just 'media and purchases' without fully signing out of your Account? How so please?
The thing with the two bugs is if you continue to use Dolby Atmos, one day it will be fine, then the next it will freak out. Or it will work for an hour, then freak out later in the day.Did that fix either issue?
Had to put on my dunce cap (well worn...) but how did you just sign out of those two? Where from in Sys prefs or ????did not have to sign out of my iCloud account, just media and purchases.
Just got to settings -> Apple ID (your name at the top of the settings) -> media and purchases. Once you tap on media & purchases a pop up will ask you to sign out, password setting or view account. This only solves it for a short moment. It returns quickly to be an issue again. For those of us who spend a lot of time on airplanes (with downloaded for offline songs), it comes back more or less immediately. Apple forums have literally thousands of complaints about this.Just got to settings -> Apple ID (your name at the top of the settings) -> media and purchases. Thanks! Will give it a try. Today in the park I played around with the settings and only got my Shazam tracks to play after making sure Cellular was on in 'Settings..> Cellular...> Music. Worked for a while and then I noticed that not only was it using my cell data but also that the amount of data under 'Music' per above had increased! This while playing a Playlist under 'Showing only music on this iPhone'...! WTF? Cut off ALL Cellular (under Settings) and the music finished the song in play then began the next...played..sputtered...played...sputtered....stopped. Strange bug indeed! Will continue to experiment but Apple has to get this together! Not sure what it means but was trying to play music downloaded by Shazam and with 'Spatial'...'Lossless'...'DolbyAtmos' all on...Tried playing around with the on/off toggles of each ....iPhone seemed at times to want to crash. What a kluge.Just got to settings -> Apple ID (your name at the top of the settings) -> media and purchases.
