iPhone Downgrade bb in 3gs on 6.1.2

ok if i downgrade to 4.1 my baseband is still 05.16.08 so according to what i have read i cannont use ipad baseband is this correct

if your stuck in recovery try loggin in as new user on windows and then running itunes that worked for many i just used a different pc that had itunes installed on already that got me back to 6.1.2

Yours would be from 2010 week 26 and should be compatible with the ipad.

If you are on 4.1 use redsn0w to upgrade to the ipad BB.
Then use redsn0w to downgrade to 05.13.04

Oh!! i am really sorry,

Actually i tried to restore to 6.1.2 using enter dfu ipsw but couldnt and stucked in dfu / recovery mode. black screen but redsnow and itunes detect it. when check with tu i am still on 4.1 bb 6.15. and i tried to doungrade bb but couldnt.

Since i am on 4.1 tried to jail break using redsnow but now the screen full of (please wait... )

If you want help then don't try to do 10 things at tne same time, the bb dowgrade sometimes takes 10 times to go through.

Also read up and do some research, DFU is not the same as recovery, and pwn-DFU is another mode as well

Alright I was bit curious so ... sorry for that.

Here's things i did and my status now;

Tried to downgrade BB and it end up in recovery mode.
Tried to update FW to 6.1.2 but nothing happened no err just 'waiting for iphone'
Created enter dfu ipsw using redsnow and failed in dfu and recovery loop.

Now the screen is black, but itunes and redsnow recognise the device in recovery mode. (Redsnow recognise '3gs / old br) bb not visible.
When connected to TU and fix recovery unable to fix recovery but recognise the device as FW 4.1 bb 06.15.00-6.4_M3S2.

Now cannot restore to 4.1 or 6.1.2 itune shows err [9].

Like said before there is a difference between recovery and DFU

Recovery the connect to itunes screen is showing on the phone
DFU the screen is black

Judging from your post the phone is in DFU not in recovery.

Hold Home and Power together for up to a minute, the phone should restart.

According to TU the phone is now at 4.1 and 06.15.00, the upgrade succeeded

Now follow the tutorial to the letter!

tried several times, but still on the black screen. TU recognise as device in DFU.

First tried the latest but, but now stuck in dfu mode. so can i continue downgrade bb in dfu mode.

You jammed up your phone by not following the instructions :(

Best advice I have is try Fix Recovery from TinyUmbrella or Redsn0w
Might kick it out.
Use older Redsn0w to make a No BB IPSW for 4.1
Reboot the computer
Hold down the Power and Home button as you launch iTunes to see if it see's the phone requiring a restore.
Try using iTunes to navigate to your IPSW

cannot fix recovery using TU and redsnow old version
TU = unable load some file and greenpoison initialized. cannot boot.
RS = older version fix recovery disabled. latest version asked to 'slide to power off' and reboot in normal mode.

We can't help if you keep being unclear like "unable to load some file"
We need the exact names of missing files or errors.

Did you try holding Home and Power together to restart the phone?

Try making a custom NO_BB 4.1 IPSW with redsn0w
download 4.1 IPSW
in redsn0w go to Extras/Custom IPSW and select the 4.1 IPSW
it will create a NO_BB IPSW

Use that NO_BB in iTunes and ALT-restore(mac) or SHIFT-restore(win) to restore to 4.1 without touching the BB.

Report back if you have that.

Sorry i might not know this stuff but none of RS versions work to make NO_BB FW. it supports 4.3.3 and 5.0 x. So i tried to create NO_BB in 6.1.2 but it also does not support.

Still not answering my question: Did you try holding home and power together to restart?

Also did you try Just Boot in redsn0w?

The Redsn0w version mentioned in the downgrade tutorial (I think it is 14b perhaps) will absolutely build a No BB IPSW for 4.1 firmware.

If is is failing, then you are not doing the process correctly.

What is the purpose of starting a new thread ?
You are getting assistance here, but you are making operator errors !

Hi DH, actually he is right on this, tried it myself, redsn0w pops alert only 4.3.3 to 5+ for custom IPSW, the 9.6rc8 does not have the option and 9.9b8 also pops up the same alert.

He can use Pwnage tool to make the 4.1 custom IPSW (the old days…) but first lets see what happens on the just boot and the hard reset.

First i selected the ipsw and custome ipsw but it fails and the error shows 4.3.3 and 5.0+ are supported now.

OK, if so, then I am mistaken but I could swear 14b will do it successfully.

A friend of mine "Slavikulikoff" wrote this some time ago, AFAIK it still should work

Tried hard reset and just boot option too, just now. hard reset no change. In just boot option pwnapple logo shows for a while and again end up in dfu.

oh!!! great thank you so much for everything
now restored to official 4.1, now its in recovery mode, (itunes and usb)
the only thing i did was TU stuffs. :)

But still need to kick out of recovery and activate the phone to downgrade bb
i will never forget your kid advice and the time you guys spend to help us .

ok ive checked mine out it has the 36MY1EE chip
flashed to 4.1 now but baseband is 05.16.08 but have no service not detecting any network carrier unavailable
am i ok to go do ipad baseband and then downgrade ipad baseband then ultrasn0w or am i trying to run before i can walk ?

I almost did everything with the help DHlizard and TriJetHero.
success fully downgraded to 4.1 and flushed bb and jailbroke using RS 9.6b6.

The phone was perfectly normal for few hours. But when i tried to update cydia again it end up in recovery mode. I tried to re-run the jail break and screen is full of pls wait......

And also tried to reinstall 4.1 but couldn't. after about 10% progress error different errors like [9] [28] block the install.

need help please!!!

If you are saying you tried to re-install Cydia, that will not be successful.
