iPhone Downgrade iOS 6 to iOS 5 then JB without SHSH blobs?

I have no clue what are SHSH blobs, he shift on my keyboard then restore while my iPhone in DFU, and I get a 3149 unknown error in iTunes. I'm using a Windows 7 desktop PC. If this would be possible, would someone please share the details instructions on how to do this? I read I need the blobs, but would you guys say I could do this without blobs?

that's assuming the person is already on iOS 6.0-6.1.2, and not some other version trying to downgrade/upgrade to one of those versions
