I've been noticing it several times per day. Drops down to 0-1 bars of service and drops the data connection for several seconds, then comes back by itself.

Very frustrating, I'm hoping Apple releases an update for this soon.

Hi All,

Since my install of beta 4 I am seeing dropped mobile signal sporadically. Last night when I installed it I thought there were issues being in the house, I have been using my phone this morning and when I was on a call it kept cutting out. When I looked at the phone it would show it had lost 3G/4G and down to one bar. After about 5 or 6 seconds it would be back to full signal.

Anyone else seeing this?

This is happening to me CONSTANTLY on iPhone 6S Plus with Verizon. What do we do?!

As previous beta cycles with similar issues (for iOS 9 and 8 and 7) show is that if the usual troubleshooting steps don't work the remaining options are either to wait for a new update that would hopefully fix the issues, perhaps go back to a previous beta that didn't have these issues, or go back to the latest stable/public version which generally doesn't expeience issues of this type.

As above, unfortunately there isn't much we can do right now. I would recommend and encourage you to fill out a report using the Feedback app - make sure Apple get as many reports of the issue as possible. The pain of that is, as the Feedback app isn't working properly and will not send the diagnostic files, they can't get the full picture of the issue from my device. I have another thread going were we are discussing how to force the app to send some info, just not getting that diagnostic file though.

EE UK here, just been at the Man Utd match and whilst driving to and from the ground my car was reporting "no service" loads of times.

I also had poor signal in the ground and was getting 20kbps download speeds which I know can be network congestion but the signal usually stays 1-2 bars however I was losing all service (even 2g) then it would randomly come back at 4g then go again.

Submitted feedback.

Mine sent the diagnostic files when I reported this.

Files also attached on mine

So i just installed this public beta 3 last night, I'm on ATAT by the way. the signal bar animation certainly has some bug to it which displays 1 bar, however, i do not have a problem using my phone to call or to use the internet even though it shows 1 bar,

Another thing i noticed is that while it is displaying 1 bar, as soon as i try to call someone it jumps to 4 or 5 bars which implies to me that the bug is in the signal bar animation and nothing more, i had an over 2 minute call just now to test if i will have a dropped call or if it will work as it should and it works just fine,

so there is indeed a bug in the signal bar animation in public beta 3 which shows that only 1 bar of signal is available, hopefully it gets fixed in the next beta, the iOs 10 beta seems solid other than that so far, except for some needed polish throughout the system but its working good so far.

Would love that to be the case but some of us have it drop all the way to "No Service" as mine was doing that today all day, then nothing works at all.

Submitted feedback that this keeps happening to me as well. I'm in the Boston area with multiple towers everywhere.

With all that said there is one good thing about this dropping signal:

I've been working in a proper rural setting today where its nearly all 2G coverage 3G/4G is practically non existent, however when the iPhone has had signal its been so much better at finding, holding on to, and using the 1 single bar of 3G/4G.

Previously I would have stayed on 2G all day and would have to toggle Airplane mode to force the phone to find the tiny bit of 3G available and then I'd get a few minutes use out of it at most before it dropped back to 2G.

Today I was able to use 3G nearly all day which is normally unheard of.

Hopefully this is the beginning of Apple making the modem more sensitive and hopefully if they can iron out the dropping part then this would be a perfect update.
