I've got a Tmobile 6s currently on 1.60.00 I was dropping signal since the B4 upgrade and went back to 9.3. I'm going to try and upgrade again. Maybe Tmo pushed an updated carrier update.

So I'm out of date apparently. Nothing is popping up for me. Are you three still having issues with signal with this beta? If not I might update and hope that I get prompted to install a new carrier update.
Once before (long time ago), I got carrier update through the about page (when I open that page and I was scrolling down), I get notification that there is a carrier update.

That's correct, as mentioned earlier at https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...e-beta-4-install.1985863/page-4#post-23215764 as well--basically carrier updates often come with iOS updates (as part of them essentially) or can be separate that come up on their own or when visiting the About screen in Settings.

I haven't turned the LTE option back on. I'm waiting for another beta release where hopefully the LTE issue is resolved

Yea I remember getting one with the last beta. I guess I was wondering if another one came since this latest beta that might fix the call dropping issue. Or maybe, what if I were to do the new beta and not update the carrier settings?

..... Or I could just wait until next week and install that beta... lol

Reporting in preliminary results...it appears to have fixed it for me so far.

My mobile data basically always dropped every time I uploaded photos to Dropbox. Typically within the first 5 - 10 seconds max. I just tried uploading a couple of batches of photos a few minutes apart and no drop this time. I'm pretty sure it dropped 100% of the time on B3 in this scenario.

Haven't had any issues with signal drop in beta 4 on ATT. The significant jump in the carrier version in beta 5 should be a sign of solid improvements.

For me it has been location based. ZERO issues on Verizon LTE in Washington State.

Recent weekend to Phoenix and especially Tucson, disaster. Tucson was a mess...3G only didn't fix it.

Back to Washington State, ZERO issues!

That's weird. It probably has to do with the cellular radio. Hopefully it will all get sorted out by public release.

Why are you running a beta OS on a phone used to take "mission critical" calls?

It was only for that week that that particular phone/number needed to be active/stable. It's my personal phone so I run beta software since it's not important but for that week I had a number of personal calls coming in that were important and this was right after I updated to beta 4. Tmobile ended up pushing updates out to my phone at least a couple days after.
