Safari won't actually update.

But every time I click "updated" it tosses another "success" down in the box below.

I think the 4th time is the charm. I have 4 of those updates installed now.

hey, for anyone who is considering a fresh install (what I do every year) you could run into a few problems (eg. with mail because apple moved account settings and the script for fixing is deep in the system). I took a lot of time to work with the gm and the betas and put together a project for backup, restore, manuals (how to make the installer medium, solve the mail problem,...) and a lot of scripts (dock, system preferences, network settings...) to save a lot of time.

Freaked out.. I restarted my system after the Safari 9.0 update and when I logged in, the classic Yosemite wallpaper was now my background? I've never had that happen before.
