Maybe if I buy that Apple will allow me to get El Cap before everyone else.

If you spoof the App Store to believe you're on their internal network it'll let you download. Speeds are awesome cause it's from their internal servers rather than the ones the rest of the App Store users have to go with.

Open a new tab then click and drag an open tab to the far left of the tab bar.

Right-click a tab and select “Pin Tab”.

YES. Always backup before doing a major system update. Not doing so risks you losing everything.

Not always. Actually fairly frequently it's been different. Maybe only the same 50% of the time these days.
