So are they ready to activate by tomorrow per that ?
Seems like it...says the QR code will either be sent via email or on a receipt if in store...looks like they are going to dynamically create the esims, no physical cards like AT&T did.

So you should be a happy camper if that works tomorrow. Probably should give it a try on phone today

I am an AT&T customer. I called customer services this morning, after talking with 4 reps (all from India I guess), the last one, managed to de-activated my physical sim during the conversation. I had to ran to the local store to get a new sim card to restore my services. While I am at store, asked eSIM option, no one seems known how, all said they have an internal memo on the subject, but no inventory of physical card with QC code, sku#, etc., so no luck to get my eSIM activated. Will try at another store this afternoon to see if I had better luck.

What an absolute mess. No luck here activating mine with Verizon. Rep has no clue and now I am reading the above link saying it won't work yet with Verizon. Only reason I ordered the dang phone. Complete waste.

I completely agree. What have they been doing for the last month!!??
Verizon won’t do it either because their service degrades calls and drops data to 2G.

We went to AT&T on Sunday and was able to activate esim on both lines. Main sim is on Verizon. Both works fine with beta and now the official 12.1 version.

If your physical SIM is Verizon and (from what I understand) as long as it’s not set as the secondary line, you are free to use the eSIM for another provider. Being on Verizon doesn’t disable the eSIM capability, they just won’t activate eSIMs yet.
