4AM meditation and coffee (drip).
5AM workout
6:30AM coffee (drip) and homemade egg white breakfast burrito
8AM French press

Gosh.

5AM sleep
6:30AM sleep
8AM sleep
9AM wake up, shower, stretch
9:30AM Caffe latte usually with Formula Rossa beans from London's Algerian Coffee Store

Some godforsaken hour: Awaken (slowly, blearily, blinking), from sleep or deep slumber.

Some slightly later hour: Stumble into scalding hot shower (it assists the awakening process).

And, another, somewhat later hour, again: Now dressed, but still smothering and stifling yawns, one commences the lengthy, but enjoyable process of preparing a mug, or pot (French press) of coffee, preferably coffee from the Horn of Africa. Coffee assists (greatly) the awakening process.

Tried to woke up at 4, headache killed the plan.
Woke up at 5:45, double shot espresso.
Work at 8am, headache still bothering me, regular drip coffee.

Ouch sorry to hear that. Any idea what triggers your headaches?

On coffee news, I found a terrific new coffee spot literally 5 minutes away from my apartment just opened.

Oh Martine! Excellent coffee in all the styles (espresso, drip, aeropress) and also teas and they specialize in tartines: bread with various toppings, kind of an open-faced sandwich. Very nicely decorated with large windows and tables.

I have been trying to track it, I think it's weather related.

That is always a welcome news! Have one in my honor :)

Oh my, their food looks amazing!

Plain French pressing of Kenyan AA. Weather looks ghastly outside. Just got in from getting the paper and there are some very dark clouds up there. There's a see-saw effect in the weather. I suspect most will feel terrible in the coming weeks until the sun peeks out of the sky and begins the three month long burn on us mere mortals.

Sri, overcast skies, here, too, but I am enjoying my afternoon mug of filter coffee (Palomino, Italian), with two buttered shortbread biscuits.
