What are you purchasing this year?

It concerns me a little why they haven’t charged me yet for the 25-27 Sep delivery date when some folks got charged for October date.
I got charged just for the 22. ip pro delivery. The ip 15 PM was not charged (October)

Ordered from Norway**.

Had to wait a few minutes after launch start, with the "we'll finishing up..." message still on the page, and had to use the Apple website, and not the Apple Store iPhone app (which didn't come back online until much later), but the process itself went smoothly, including setting up trade-in for my 11 pro.

(Still) Expecting the iPhone to be delivered on Friday (but bad experience with DHL makes me a bit apprehensive...)

** Not in the EU, technically speaking, but assosiated through the EEA.

The phones will come from china… my ip15 pro is on “preparing for shipment” since saturday.
my ip15 pro max is unfortunately still on 4. october.
And what is the delivery date on Apple.com for your 15 Pro that's on Preparing for Shipment?

The phones are still on preparing for shipment at the Apple system, but you can surely get simple status updates with UPS and track them by reference number.
See my screenshot attached.
Go to the ups website, select „track by reference number“, and type your order number „Wxxxxxxxxx“ without the last two digits in that field.
Then expand the begin date to your order date so that the timespan should include your delivery and the simple tracking should find it if it’s already shipped from China.

When all the devices arrive at their target airport, and run through the initial scan, every customer gets the real tracking number from Apple.

In the last years some iPhone preorders shipped from UPS station in Czech, Netherlands or two years ago from Cologne with DHL to southern Germany in my case.
But no matter what target station it will be, all of them need the initial flight coming from China.

Usually for Europe we will not get any notifications before they are shipped , so that's not before wednesday evening or even thursday . They are usually shipped from the Netherlands .
Who knows , it might be different this year 🤷🏻‍♀️
So no „preparing for ship“ update?
I check every hour 😂

This doesn't work for me in The Netherlands.

I am getting the 15 Pro 256GB Natural Titanium and upgrading from the 11 Pro 256GB Space Grey. I was debating whether to go with the 15 or 15 Pro, but the lack of AoD on the 15 was a deal breaker for me. Before my 11 Pro I had AoD for years on Android and this was the only feature I did miss on iPhone. I did pre-order it and they said it should come on the 22.9, but I highly doubt it 😅 When I did order my 11 Pro 4 years ago, it came on the 2nd of November or so.

I tried that but it doesn’t find anything… 😭
But I have launch day delivery so there should at least be a label created by now…
I don’t know…
I am a bit jealous that you get to track your phone…

Ordered from Italy an iPhone 15 Pro Max (Blue/256Gb) around 2:26 pm (Italian time, so 26 minutes after preorders went live).

Expected delivery date: Sep 27 - 29 Sep, still on "Processing".

Hopefully I will get it on Monday 25th! 😐

Last year my iPhone 14 Pro Max got shipped the day before the day one with DHL. Probably the same will happen this year, so finger crossed. I remember I didn't had any status update in between, it was on "Processing" and the day before the release it changed to "Shipped". So no "Preparing for shipping" or anything in between, it went directly from "Processing" to "Shipped".

Well yes , actually mine ( Arriving on friday 🤞🏻) is preparing to ship . It's "Shipped" that shows up much later than in the US as arriving normally from the Netherlands .
Sorry I wasn't clear 🙃

This was my previous experience with pre-orders from Italy, EU.

Typical BS as expected by Apple Store Business

Nice, lucky you man! When it changed to "preparing for shipment"?

Just curious, you got charged yet on your credit card?

Which part of Italy?

I'm asking because, if you are like me, you're unlucky... because if you live in a small city, usually it takes one extra day to get it delivered.

Let me explain what usually happens to me: My iPhone ships the day before the release (so on Thursday) and basically arrives in my city in the morning of the launch day around 8/9 am, which is already late because the couriers in my area loads the van around 7 am, so I get it the next business day, which is a Monday because of the weekend 😓

From Italy too, I ordered at 2:10pm (10 minute after the preorder starts) and the delivery date is Sep 26.

Usually for EU orders I never saw any change about the order status, only in the day before delivery date.

Center of Rome. Could've picked the pick-up option on launch day but can't be bothered going to the apple store and waiting in line so i just choose delivery instead haha

Same for me. Italy as well in the mountains (Appennino Tosco Emiliano, Frassinoro) and this is ALWAYS what happens to me. This year is worse because I placed the order 10 minute after the per order starts and the delivery date is Sep 26. A strange date.

Did you get that estimate straight away or did it change today?

Yesterday I think but not a 100% sure. I just had a look at my credit card and yes it was charged , not pending anymore.
