Other EUROPE iPhone (2018) XS/XS Max/XR Pre-Orders and Dispatch Thread

Not a lot of excitement for the XR in here.
Mine has been preparing for shipping since saturday and I expect it to ship on thursday, or possibly wednesday if it’s then being held at a hub.

I’m super excited! I tried an iPhone with the 5S back in 2013 but it didn’t work out for me then. Too small screen for my big fingers to type on, and it felt too limited in software. The XR is certainly big enough for me to type on, and a lot has happened with iOS since. I’m still going to carry an Android phone too, because a love both platforms, but the iPhone is going to be my primary device. Can’t wait to have my text messages synced to my Mac and iPad.

I guess most users are from the U.S. and Britain hence why the apparent lack of excitement. Delivery estimates for all colors and capacities have already slipped to 1-2 weeks in my country and across Europe.

When I preordered my first Max they only updated the preparing for shipping status the day before launch day. It was sent from Milan, Italy to Lisbon, Portugal on DHL.

I have just received an email from Apple with the tracking number. Checking it, it says this morning at 10:30 departed from Milan, Italy. Not sure if it will arrive tomorrow.

EDIT: ok, just checked and Apple website says the delivery is 30th. But the shipping company (DHL) website says it will be tomorrow before the end of the day.

I'm located in the Netherlands. Ordered a Xr white 128Gb on friday 26th from the online Applestore after I had a look at an Xr in store. Arrives today, wednesday 31th. Excited!
