cool poster, but I've been told by a friend who works at apple its missing one.
apparently 1st year of the Apple Watch at the employee only gift shop there was a exclusive classic rainbow apple logo band different to the rainbow ones sold to normal people.
Very interesting, but I never heard about it, neither Macrumors or 9to5 or any other news source. And the first employee-only rainbow band metioned was San Francisco Pride parade emplyee exclusive one... probably your buddy meant that one?

I don't think so but it's Possible, next time I go down and see him I'll get a better look and compare if I remember to do so.

Apple Watch 4, 40mm SBSS with first Blue Sportsband 2015, MJ4J2ZM/A

But I want a original Blue Sportsband looking similiar to the original iPad Air/2 Smart Cover below.

Which one is it?

I think that's Royal Blue from spring/summer 2016, which is quite hard to find online now...

Actually, every first half of the year Apple has a similar medium blue color:
- 2015: Original Blue
- 2016: Royal Blue
- 2017: Azure
- 2018: Denim Blue

Maybe you should consider Azure from spring/summer 2017, which is also similar in color but easily found discounted in a lot of places still. Or patiently waiting for a new blue color in march 2019... ;)

I have royal blue; my wife has denim blue. I can't remember how Azure looks in person (I think it was more gray?) but Denim Blue is really close.

You mean really close to the iPad Air 2 Cover?
Sadly in Germany I cannot find Azure oder Denim Blue in 38mm for a fair price.

Oops, I was ambiguous- the denim blue is super close to royal blue- I couldn't get a good picture to show the differences myself. Royal is going to probably be the closest overall to matching the iPad cover though.

Here’s a picture of the three:

Basically, Denim Blue is like a “dirty” version of Royal Blue, and Azure is a lighter version of Royal Blue.

Awesome mate, thanks! Guess Azure looks most similiar to my iPad Case.

Do you have deep blue horizon too and may you add it on the photo? :)

Actually I think your iPad cover is Royal Blue, since Azure is a 2017 color and they never made a cover for iPad Air 1/2 in this color... Blue Horizon is an amazing color, probably the best deep blue of all. If you like it, I suggest you get it while it's still available, since it's already starting to sell out in some European countries. Once these colors are sold out, they almost never come back.

Here you have most of the blues: (the only one that’s not here is the Sky Blue, which I missed last year and haven’t been able to find since then...)

From left to right:
Mist Blue, Blue Gen 2, Blue Gen 1, Royal Blue, Lilac, Azure, Denim Blue, Ocean Blue, Blue Horizon, Blue Cobalt, Midnight Blue.

It's really hard to do them justice in picture though. The bands on the right should be darker in real life, since my lamp is on the right.

I just missed a Midnight Blue Loop (42mm) on ebay tonight, dangit! I hadn't seen any pop up lately but I was on the phone & assumed I'd have a few minutes before someone scooped it up.

Also still on the lookout for Rose Red & Blue Orbit/Gamma Blue.

It’s amazing that there are these many bands, yet I only like two. The black milanese, which seems really risky with the aluminium watch, and the black woven nylon which is discontinued

What's turning you off? Colors & materials?

I wasn't that impressed before I had my watch, but I love the variety now.

I have the black milanese loop withe the space gray aluminum, & I like it a lot.

Which midnight blue loop did you miss? Sport loop or leather loop?

A bit of both. The sport bands have a material I really don't like, also don't like the style. I like the sports loop for its comfort, but it's really uncomfortable when it gets wet, and takes quite a while to dry. The plastic parts also look and feel cheap. I'm also not very sporty as a person, and don't like the sporty style.

Also, I don't like leather for multiple reasons, including animal rights, that they can't handle water, and that I don't like how they feel (at least not until really worn in) or smell.

I did like the black woven nylon, except that Apple has a weird definition of black and it's really gray. I found it at three physical stores in my country but neither would ship it to me and all were too far away.

I love good and classy looking metal bands, and the milanese loop is my favorite by far. The problem except for the price is that I have heard so many horror stories about aluminium watches being horribly scratched by the black milanese. Both the screen and the body. Some of these users claim that they have been super careful.

How is your watch holding up? And how careful are you? I'm the kind of person who handles all my nice things with care. I haven't broken a single phone screen ever, and I haven't even scratched any screen (except for micro scratches that are just unavoidable if not using a screen protector).

The solution to your problem seems very simple: look for a Black Woven Nylon on ebay or just get the Space Black Link Bracelet, which is the best watch band ever, and never look back.

I agree about leather. also about wet sport loops.

Have you given the sport bands a try? Coming from a more traditional watch, I was never very interested in Apple Watch - looked like a toy. Now I love it, it's fun.

My watches look great. I wouldn't say I'm crazy careful, but since I heard before I got the SB Milanese was scratch prone I was looking out for it. I'm like you, I handle my nice things with care.
